not only was my sister @goluckygirl in this video but my neices were in that school that was ravaged by that tornado. my own children went to the elementary school next to this high school. that school was hit also.my dad picked them up before the tornado hit and we were at my home down the street when it hit. it took the roof off my house. scariest thing ever not knowing what was coming... but we lived through it!!! the memories will haunt us forever!
It's been a long time since but too many it was just yesterday. My heart is broken from that day. I lived in Enterprise for three years and I felt bad and still do for all those who lost loved ones... My God Bless them.
that last clip where the school is in rubble and the eight doves are flying away is a good depiction of our lord savoior takin their precious souls to a better place.god bless their souls..
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? People died because of this tornado! Half of my family lives in Enterprise, by talking that filth you are disgracing those we lost on that day; including 8 high school students. I will never forget that day. For hours I didnt know if my Grandparents were even alive. It was hard to get information up in Ky about individual people.
this copyright crap makes me ill. this video has been up for two years and they are just screwing it up. I've seen tons of folks with copyrighted songs..
see what im talking about?! xD its pretty funny dude dont try to hurt my feelings it doesnt work with me, ill suck dick if i want thats no problem, but yeah ur hate is funny but has to stop.
Well, let me just clear up a couple of things quickly and I'll be done with you! One, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. You made a hateful comment to me first and I simply responded back. So stop being a hypocrit. I did not post anything hateful on this video until you and gAtSnGuNz1 talked shit to me first. Second, after seeing your profile I realize I am arguing with someone who is mentally challenged, and for that I apologize....NOW, go fuck yourself.
i knew four of the people who died thats the worst thing thats ever happened in the history of enterprise.i was so scared my best friend's house was completely demolished.my dad went out and helped clean the trees out of peoples' houses. we all learned that we really can rely on our neibors because everyone was helping those who had lost anything.but our lives are changed now and we all moved on,but we will never forget what happened that day and those who were lost and those who lost someone.
I come from the UK, I might not know much about the pwople that live there but all my thoughts till this day go to all those in Enterprise, My deepest sympathy go to those who lives were lost and those who lost loves ones, I will say That the people of Enterprise, I will say now... Who are strong willed people and i feel that you will overcome anything.

Natural disasters... I'd care more if this had happened in any other country than america. The thing is, I really can't shed any tears over the yanks, sorry.
The thing is is that we are from the South we aren't Yanks. And I'm appalled that you would even post such a comment. No matter what country, people hurt the same. The loss of a child, in America, China, Australia wherever still hurts. You have no idea what the City of Enterprise, the school system and the parents and friends of those 8 amazing kids that were lost that day have went through. So if you cant comment maturely. then please keep your rude comments to yourself. Thanks.
Yes, most people are aware of the overseas meaning of Yank.
Back to the original point: the person was an a**hole for making the comment. Going out of one's way to mention hatred of a particular country is no different than offhandedly mentioning a racial or religious hatred. It only points out the speaker's (or writer's) own closed-minded stupidity.
@drocktsu i dont know who you were sending this comment to but i do agree with you no one has any idea what people aer going through here unless they are going through the pain of losing one of the eight as well i lost four close friends in the tornado and to this day there are nights i find myself crying cause i miss not having them around i actually changed the date that i go to the peanut festival and when i graduate this year a picture of katie will be in my pants pocket it not on my robe
You should feel ashamed of yourself for even saying that. Talking about not being patriotic man and having a heart. Could have been your family and I am sure you would have viewed it differently. But you have no heart and your cold. Judgement will come for people like you...
@gribae Oh my God!!! Was that a f*cking joke? I mean really? We are in LOWER Alabama which if you haven't noticed, which you probably haven't since you're obviously so ignorant, is in the SOUTHERN region of America. I know it's a waste of my time to even speak to a low life idiot like you, but hopefully God takes care of you and takes you back down the right path. Selfish dumb-ass.

It has been almost a year since the tornado hit. I have heard so many stories & was able to walk back through my high school one more time after the tornado hit. I have to say the pictures tell a story, but walking through the school was something I can't even describe. There were 8 precious lives lost that day in that school. If you walked through it with me you would know it was an absolute miracle we didn't lose more. God Bless those we lost and their families. I am forever an E'prise Wildcat
Been through a few tornados in my time but nothing like this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. And to those who lost someone I say: Remember, this is not the end. Life goes on for everyone both here and beyond.
My grandparents live there and we were down there for my dads b-day. his brother was at the high school and he fas killed. he went out side to get to his car and some piece of metal took part of his head off
i live in Enterprise, AL and our bus was about to leave the school...and we got a call in telling us we had to go into the halls and he stayed in the halls for like 10 minutes and when we left me and my mom drove around and it was a disaster...i couldnt sleep that night knowing that it happened =( but today im glad i still live in Enterprise, AL i love it here!!
I live 45 mins away from Enterprise. down in Andalusia and we didn't even get touched. my dad went the next day(to work on phone lines)and everything was crushed. its even worse in person. its not just the high school, it was the neighborhoods around it too.
My comment comes months later, but brings home that time will not really heal this type of trajedy for those who were in it, for those with the first-hand experience of loss -- be it of a significant person or of a meterial loss or a sentimental object. Most common for them (and May God Bless those in Enterprise now), must be the shock, and being witness to the shock of a sudden and endless storm that altered everything that they knew.
i live in Lanett, Alabama (close to Auburn)and we had some windows broken and shutters blown off and my brother was friends with 1 who lost his life at Enterprise High School.
I may be from the uk but human tragedy is always a poignant thing to here about. God bless all those families and friends that were affected by this and god keep safe in his arms all those lost.
A very poignant, well made video from still images. Very fitting.
I remember that storm. It was terrible it kept reforming like it was A hurricane but on land. It never went away all day. I live less then 2 hours away from Enterprise and we got it Pretty bad too. 4 Tornadoes but No fatalities Luckily. May god be with those In Enterprise.
My niece lives in Enterprise, just a few blocks from the high school. While she was on the phone with my mother, the tornado sirens started sounding. Needless to say, we were all very worried. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt. May Goddess hold those whose lives were so brutally changed by this tragedy close to Her heart. Blessings.
I live in Enterprise.. for the one's who were lost... Jesus has them in his care.. but for the one's who are still living in their own hell... They need all the prayers they can get... It is still so heartbreaking over two weeks after the storm... I know some high school students who were friends with some of the lost.. Please continue to pray!
I live less than an hour away from E'prise and must say this has touched so many lives, even here.. yall are in our hearts and in our prayers! God Bless Enterprise
This was worth seeing, although long, to the end. the end was beautiful. this happened 20 miles from me, and has touch my heart deeply, was truely a wonderful video.
