It's sad that so many of us women are bitter because of past relationships, or what we THINK the current guy's going to do. When this song released, I will living with my boyfriend at the time. I did just about all of what they're singing about for him, yet he was nowhere near a good man. Am I jaded? Not anymore. The man who is waiting patiently for me to commit to him, is ready to take full care of me, working so I don't have to. I WILL cater to him. Summer 2011 will be remarkable.

@divafabulista Wow! That's deep and I can so relate. Married for 15 years and now divorced for 2 years. Met a guy and been seeing him for a year. He's great but, he told me that he don't stand a chance because of all the damage my ex did. No matter how hard I tell myself that I'm not gonna let my ex hold me down.....he is because he damaged my heart, my mind, and sometimes i think my it runs deep into my soul. I loved him too damn hard! For what??? I was too damn good for him.

@cdismuke1 try your best to get passed it. Leave it in the past. It took me a while, over a year, to get over my ex. Now that I am over him, I am ready for my new man to take me to new heights. I'm ready for him, and he's waited patiently. The man in your life, give him a chance. Don't lose out on a good thing just because your ex lost out on a good thing.
