The characterisation of evolution as a fary tale not only misunderstands what the whole thing is about but it causes bigger problems and teaches people to come to quick judjments about new ideas, you don't have to indorse an idea to be open to any evidence that it presents. Saying you were not there or can it be tested to that standard causes so many metaphysical problems that it would cause an observational pardox or many.

I'll explain for some Christians. They think there are 3 parts to a human: body, soul, and spirit. They say: The body is your flesh obviously. There are a lot of non religious scientists who will tell you the same things Mr. Hovind is. It's not just religious people who believe evolution (changes from one species to another, not minor changes within species) is inaccurate scientifically. 100 scientists signed a public dissent from Evolution because of their knowledge of science. Most, if not all, were not religious. But the moment someone mentions God nobody listens to what they have to say. Well, they're not the only ones.

There's 2 people for you :) I dare you to read "A Case for a Creator" by Lee Strobel. He's a journalist, ex-atheist turned Christian. He interviewed both of those men and many other reputable scientists to find out if it was scientifically reasonable to believe in Intelligent Design or Creationism. He didn't just interview Christians, & he interviewed scientists from all different fields.

You're right, you can't prove God. You also can't prove He doesn't exist. But modern scientific discoveries point towards Intelligent Design, which does present a pretty good case for belief in God. :)
Even if evolution is correct, how did matter begin? What caused the Big Bang? It's not logical or proven that something can appear from nothing; that's been proven impossible by science. So then, where did it all come from? Matter cannot be created or destroyed, so how did it come to be?

Depends what you mean by Biological Evolution. I believe variations within species did/does happen; that's been observed and is repeatable. But I don't think the facts support the idea that all life evolved from one organism, or from no life at all.

That is a recent discovery, but i believe they can be used through divine providence for medicinal purposes, also pretty recent. God wouldn't give us the intelligence we have so that we have so that we wouldn't forego its use.

@Grambo4 Carbon 14 dating only works on organic stuff less than 60,000 years old. Plenty to prove the earth is old.
They found the most accurate radiometric dating works on volcanic ash layers, so the date the layer above and below a fossil.

Yeah, but no one said they wanted it in schools. Just the idea of ID. Personally I feel the evidence is equal for both sides. Evidence could be evolution or ID, it just depends on your background and how you interpret them. Honestly, I dont think either are science and both should be left out of school. We should just focus on Science that will advance us. When has learning about the origins of life ever advanced us anywhere? This whole origin of life phase has backtracked science.

It's not just religious people who believe evolution (changes from one species to another, not minor changes within species) is inaccurate scientifically. 100 scientists signed a public dissent from Evolution because of their knowledge of science. Most, if not all, were not religious. But the moment someone mentions God nobody listens to what they have to say. Well, they're not the only ones.

I've been studying science for a while, and recent evidence presented by reputable scientists points to Intelligent Design. Most of these scientists are not Christians, but they admit that science points to design, although they don't claim any particular deity.

There's 2 people for you :) I dare you to read "A Case for a Creator" by Lee Strobel. He's a journalist, ex-atheist turned Christian. He interviewed both of those men and many other reputable scientists to find out if it was scientifically reasonable to believe in Intelligent Design or Creationism. He didn't just interview Christians, & he interviewed scientists from all different fields.

You're right, you can't prove God. You also can't prove He doesn't exist. But modern scientific discoveries point towards Intelligent Design, which does present a pretty good case for belief in God. :)
Even if evolution is correct, how did matter begin? What caused the Big Bang? It's not logical or proven that something can appear from nothing; that's been proven impossible by science. So then, where did it all come from? Matter cannot be created or destroyed, so how did it come to be?

When God brought death into the world these were a byproduct, though actually bacteria have been discovered to be vital to our ecosystem 100 years. Now viruses are a different story, but some have been found to replinish the ecosystem of the seas. That is a recent discovery, but i believe they can be used through divine providence for medicinal purposes, also pretty recent. God wouldn't give us the intelligence we have so that we have so that we wouldn't forego its use.

Swine flu is not bacteria at all, rather it is a virus. viruses dont evolve which supposedly an unconsciously active process rather the only difference between deformaties more complex organisms and viruses is at their microscopic level it has an advantage. What happens when a virus hijacks a host cell is that it replicates in such vast quantities that copying errors are made sometimes, the antigen membrane that surrounds the bacteria usually synthesizes a protein in a different place therefore.

no joseph they dont, if it were the unconsciously guided idea of evolution the majority of viruses expelled from the cell would have the symmetry of the unique virus, but the copying error is minimal and occasional. the viruses expelled from the nucleus usually never corrupt, but due to man duplications using their rna/dna bodies with our biological processes cell manufacturing and more chromosomal production for their genome mistakes happen.

i apologise its, numbers 31:23, my mistake its hard to remember. The Bible does talk about the worlds i believe and how they were made for Jesus. Of course you can try to explain to people that invisible things are causing disease and plagues, but what would be the point to a people so far back mentally, it should be enough to tell them how to deal with them.

welled up water is never hardly full of harmful bacteria and practically never viruses at all thats a rarity, of course, i didnt live then but i presume maybe they washed with something else also to help purify it and actually many bacteria are considered good germ flora for the intestine.

Not the case today. In the U.S. midwest and other farm areas here, yes, the wells are very deep and lined with brick or tin. However, in Africa where the wells are more primitive, as they were in the era we are discussing, they are not as deep and not lined or at least, not very well. Ebola and even Anthrax get into the water! Anthrax, especially if the water is brought up in or near a pasture for animals, like cows or sheep etc.

actually due to chemical compisition of the organic material being dated its impossible to know what the exact date is. recently they dated an allosaurus bone thought to be 150 million years old, it was dated being 16,000 years old another colossal failure for the evolutionary schema
