Why all the comments about his dark skin? When I was in the army and traveled to Africa, their were light skinned Africans as well as African of all colors. Most of us in the U.S are diluted with the blood of our white ancestors when our people were forced over here to toil in the plantations of the south and in South America, and the Carribean Islands. The fact that comments are still being made about skin color is sad to me in the 21st century!

he was really dark. but color isn't the issue. its how well put together you go with your skin. with that in mind, yeah ibe isn't all of that. but he made a really memorable role.

I absolutely love and loved Good Times all my life. The one thing I had conflict with was Florida's inability to allow her children to grow and learn and develop their own lives. She was tooooooo overbearing (even when they became adults), and Willona is too meddlesome and nosey. But soooo hilarious. lol
