  • i like when plant say: i've really the best be be be be be best the fool

p.d. why this video have negatives?wtf?

  • Great song...

  • Indescribable performance!!!!!!

  • Fabulosssoooooo!!!!

  • you know, people, I would like to see the top 100 song list from 70s and 80s...

  • who is the the 3 people that put thumbs down,,,IDIOTS!!!!!

  • @pinolafamily those 3 people haven't been lovin anyone ; )

  • Probably, maybe but likely to be the best version ever....

  • @thesteef77 The singing in this version anoys me, and no one can play the drums as John Bonham. But the rest is amazing, specially the guitar :D

  • dchanna89,

    very wise coment.

  • And John Paul Jones is still great too

  • I love Zeppelin alot. Too much! I think even today the remaining members are extremely emotionally powerful. But robert doesn't have it in him anymore. He should adjust his vocals with age.

Like jimmy has adjusted his playing, beautifully

  • This whole dvd is awesome

  • @melissahireme that's not Jason Bonham, thats the late and very great Michael Lee. RIP.

  • I believe it is Bonzo's son Jason banging the

    $hit out of the drums.

  • i went to this concert with my parents. it was INCREDIBLE.

  • @Puffmaster66 you lucky bastard :D

  • Led Zeppelin wrote this song in 1970. It took Jimmy Page and Robert Plant 24 years to properly age into what the song really required...not unlike Clint Eastwood waiting for himself to mature into what would become "Unforgiven". You really do need to live, love and lose to be a true bluesman...

  • No one can do it like Jimmy and Robert. No one at all.

  • fucking amazing !

  • Phuuuuuch!

  • Theres still no John Bonham around

  • @oldruler NO Theres NOT !!!!

  • Led Zeppelin one more show pleas!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Still sends shivers through my spine every time I hear these guys letting the Led out....<3

  • <3

  • Drummer at 2:07= pure happiness

  • Just wished they remembered Jonesy's phone # for this...

  • This tune has got to be the best thing that ever hit the music business and the world for that matter! Words can not express how powerful this band is. To this day I still get mezmorized and go into stare when I hear this song. I just love them and wish time woiuld go away, so we all could LIVE happly ever after! LED ZEPPLIN FOREVER!

  • The best rock n roll band that i ever heard..its a kind of magic that sounds absolutely amazin..love led

  • When Jimmy´s got his senses together he can beat the rest of the world !

  • OMFG

  • only two stupids... That's a legendary sound! ♫

  • Much better off the horse!

  • @w4kwd: And how !

  • Merci d'avoir uploadé cette vidéo!

  • 1:28 amazing blues riff by Page

  • 37 years old...have heard LZ since I was in diapers, and the music STILL floors me every time I hear it. I remember how excited I was when Page&Plant did their UnLedded project, as well as this tour....yes, LZ was a combination of Robert, Jimmy, Bonzo and Jonesy that made the music so great. But having at least the voice and that sweet, sweet '59 Les Paul Standard being lorded over by Page made me feel GOOD(I bet Joe Walsh is STILL kicking himself for having sold it).

  • The first time I saw them do this song it took my breath away......and over 30 yrs later wow it still does......wow

  • Old skool cool still there

  • amazing.................I am almost 30, and all I do everyday is listen to Led Zeppelin right now. I feel like I really GET IT now. : )

  • people stop bashing them not playing with JPJ. why they have to play with JPJ?at least they didnt call it zeppelin. it page and plant.they can play with whoever they want .im not against JPJ or anything, but just tried of seeing every videos of page and plant there were people bashing them not play with JPJ, got over it, people

  • that guitar can get anyone totally NAKED

  • @protaschu

r u a girl or a guy? if you are a girl then i am totally learning to play like this otherwise umm...........

  • @protaschu like.... totally. :D

  • dear Lord this is overwhelming...

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaahhhaahyou sleigh me,

  • xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! you sleigh me

  • In a word, stunning!!! Nobody does the Blues like these boyz do.....

  • Jimmy Page sei uno strafigo della madonna

  • Baby since I've been loving you, I'm about to lose my worried mind.

  • Great performance. In fact the whole unledded project was pretty awesome. Much passion from both page and plant.

  • I believe this performance ends the Clapton vs. Page blues debate.

  • Glad Jimmy Page pulled himself together after the drugs in the late 70s early 80s. He was pro, then a little less pro, then quite sloppy, then pretty pro again!

  • Jimmy - like wine, better with ages, music that makes you cry

  • Awesome! this is so bluesy, excellent!

  • jimmy is the best, always great. this solo is full of passion, i like the way he do it at 6:11 to 6:17 and his finger picking at 6:40 AMAZING!

  • @werbeboard yeah man, whatever hes doin at 6:40 - 6:50 i need to learn

  • GOOOOOOOOD

  • Blues-Kistra!

    schweet

  • So does anybody know if that guitar is "thee 59 Les Paul" Page is so famous for playing live with on stage throughout the 70s?

  • @tMattLZ

Yes that is his 59 les paul.

  • I have this DVD. At 2:08, Robert turns and looks at Michael Lee and the look on Lee's face is priceless. I think he was having a little too much fun and Robert wanted him to settle down a bit. (That was my take on it anyway).

  • look how everything is in blue.

  • Wow.

  • reeeeeee buenoooo!!p super ... this song makes me fly.

  • SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD !

  • Late at night lookin' up sum ol' blues on YouTube...How the phuc does one follow this...?!

  • I've been working from 7, BABY, to eleven every night

  • This is pretty cool. I think my favourite 90's version is the one from Glastonbury.

  • 0 dislikes awyea!

  • Genious

  • this is just...too much.....fucking too much!!!

  • Page and Gilmore.....few could squeeze as much emotion from a single sustained note nor endlessly string as many of same together into a seemless story told on guitar

  • Esta es la mejor banda de todos los tiempos

  • One of the best version of ''Since i've been loving you". The solo is out of this world, it takes you to a diffrent dimension.

  • I love how whether Jimmy is playing a rapidly fast solo or a slower more intricate solo... his soul is ALWAYS in the music!

  • why do i feel something when i listen to this song? i feel honesty, pleasure, dissapointment , i dunno what else, i feel everything at the same time its so awesome jeez <3

  • Gawddamn!

  • Absolutely fabulous. Out of all the Plant & Page collaborations, I believe they were most in their post-Zep element doing the slower numbers. Examples include this song, No Quarter, Ten Years Gone, etc.

  • Jimmy Page is a musical monster !! THE GOD

  • @tartinovich9 and Robert

  • Jimmy you were the greatest and you always are the greatest ant you will be the greatest ever....

  • My doctor put me on a diet.

    "YES IT'S A DRAG!"

    "YES IT'S A DRAG!"

    "YES IT'S A DRAG!"

    "AND YES IT'S A DRAG!"

    "YOU KNOW I DON'T! I DON'T! I DON'T THINK THAT'S RIGHT!"

(Thank God, and Zeppelin, for the blues. Ya feelin' me, ladies? :-D )

  • Absolutely perfect!!! How can two 50 year old guys still bring such energy and emotion? It's amazing.

  • Is there something better than this at youtube??

  • @ranXerox09 No.

  • Great to see it. I've got it on VHS too, recorded from the Beeb, it was the second half of a documentary. I fell in love with the blond violinist! Oh and sorry, Robert, the drumming is stunning and, as far as I'm concerned, so much better than John was; and he looks so happy! Where did you get the non BBC tracks from, Mr Hammer? I haven't got The Rain Song or The Battle of Evermore on my VHS.

  • @Quanticco The Rain Song and Battle of Evermore...they're on the DVD "Plant and Page Unledded," and I now realize that the documentary you mentioned is probably what's on that DVD too. I thought I was missing something the way you described it lol Sorry for troubling you, but I had to make sure I didn't miss out on a Zep documentary.

  • @Quanticco BTW, I love that drummer too (Michael Lee is his name, I think), who, sadly, is no longer with us. But he is in no way, shape, or form better than Mr. John Henry Bonham IMHO....sorry. Oh -- And you'd be wearing a big ol' shit-eatin' grin too if you were touring and playing onstage with Page and Plant! ;-)

Sincerest thanks for your responses on the documentary!

  • jimmy's shadow at 3:53 looks like hendrix

  • ba..by sinceeee ive been loviiiiiiiiiiing you yeaaaaaaah!!!

  • what the hell was that? i'm still shocked

  • They still know the tricks uh ? Talent is unforgettable ..

  • best version

  • Fantastic video my friend.

  • this is one of the best blues song i have ever heard in my life! inspired from guitar playing of bb king but its got this whole lot of jimmy page style as well! this song just give me shivers!!

  • I saw this show in April 2005 at the Boston Gardens - It was mind-blowing….

    Thanks for the upload.

  • I get high with this music..

  • 4:50 DELIRIO!!!

  • @ThePentagram9: jimmy is like ripened wine over the ages !

  • what a genius ! and he shines on !

  • jimmy page is a master on the guitar!!

  • Great performance. Page is amazing as always and Plant's performance has some of that spark from his glory days. Not as good as young Plant but still amazing.

  • @TraVizZyL: Would u believe that Robert + others equally can do their youth achievements all the time.....and still he´s such a genius here.

    Don´t play it down please.

    From a German voice ::::))))

  • @MrSKINFLICK Not playing it down at all just sayin. I definitely acknowledge his greatness

  • what can i say? they've cure all my sickness

  • Ya' gotta love that blonde violinist the camera keeps finding! ;-)

  • @PhiZappaCrappa Oh don't you just! I kept rewinding when I first recorded it. She's Sooo sexy, sends shivers down my spine!

  • @Quanticco Why do you think she keeps looking back over her shoulder? Hints at the impending musical change? Methinks not! ;-)

  • real song, real group, real music...

  • Damn Right Zero dislikes

  • Blues perfection - all of it - guitar, vocals, organ, drums, bass, orchestra. It doesn't get any better anywhere or anyone.

  • F****n amazing. As good as the 73 MSG performance featured on the DVD. Drums aren't quite as good and there ain't no jonesy

  • Masterpiece Amen.

  • This is the best I've ever seen Page play.

  • up Zeppelins

  • epic

  • 4:51 to 4:57 Holy shit great moment! Made the hairs on my neck stand up! And Page's solo was fantastic and full of soul like the rest of the song. WHAT A MAGICAL NIGHT THIS WAS! No one beats Plant and Page, along side John Paul Jones and John Bonham.

  • Damn!! That was great!!

  • @theatomicpunkkk THX I thought so to

  • Hey, thanks for posting this man! I have the VHS video somewhere. LOVE this version of Since I've Been Lovin' You!

  • @funkymonk80 Get the Unledded DVD...that's where this all comes from...ROCK ON!!!

  • @HammerInMyOnionHead what's the DVD name?

  • @funkymonk80 I recorded it on VHS from MTV and jimmy played notes in places you dont actually hear in this version, like theyve cut them out to clean it up but I prefer the original im used to it.

  • Just amazing!! watched an old documentary on how Page took many takes for this song on the orignal album to get it perfect. This is as good or better in one take and live. Bravo. This and Shine on You Crazy Diamond will always be my 2 favorite songs.

  • @PFTome Couldn't argue with You...Thank You!!!

  • @HammerInMyOnionHead if only musician's today played with this much soul

  • @PFTome so right. 2 best songs ever - Uri Shuker (Israel)

  • @PFTome whats the name of the documentary?

  • @PFTome Its unusualy good for page I always thought that. Ive alwasy thought of him as a session guitarist thats too good to be hiding in some studio.

  • @PFTome I want to see that old documentary too !!

  • @PFTome What documentary? Enquiring minds want to know ;-)

  • @LedLass It was a documentary on the Beeb. The first half was about the trip to Egypt, bits of playing music with the locals etc, I'm afraid I haven't got that half, then the second half was tracks from the concert, they are all here and more from Mr HammerIn. Don't have the date, im afraid, as being on VHS, it's undated. I can give you the year from the credits (if I let them run that far) if you want.

  • @PFTome

and led zeppelin and pink floyd will be my 2 favorite bands of all time :)))

  • @KingovtdaStump well my favourite version is 1973 at Madison Square garden. It's on the DVD and the song remains the same. Brilliantly intro. try it if you aint seen it. However most big ZEP fans will of

  • @ms5565

My fave is BBC Session's version, because Plant's voice is just so powerful and emotional there .

  • @KingovtdaStump I Sure Can't!!!...Thank You!!!

  • Melhor Versão

  • @lordrock2009 THX...I Think...heh

  • This is my favourite version of any zeppelin song ever. Love it.

  • @RadioactiveGazz You're Not Alone...THX!!!

  • This solo by page is much more professional and... just amazing then the other fast ones and rapid ones from Zeppelin.

Gives you a different take on his guitar playing.

  • @sharrer2 The Man can play the blues...Thx

  • @sharrer2 I wouldn't say Jimmy's solo is more professional, but I think I know what you're gettin' at. It's like the man was just FEELIN' it...picking his soul out of his body with his fingers...

  • This is great!

  • @featherriverrafter THX...I'd like to think I post good shit...

  • where cann i get no quarter, do you know?

  • @nowinterweather Try Amazon or Wal-Mart...*shakes head*

  • @nowinterweather I forgot to tell You, it's also called "UNLEDDED"

  • This song made me drop outta school...heh

  • This is my favorite SIBLY version to listen to and play on guitar. Thanks for the video post.

  • You're Very Welcome

  • @originalblueshound Totally agreed. And Plant made a great job too.The strings gave it a groovy and thrilling feeling
