but, nice worke dude :) you could've been using the weapon charge system (actually dont know the name at all xD) little more often and maybe catch the lances and throw em back, but for the low stages a very nice tactic^^ mfg

Actually, I find that your strategy sucks. I found the best way to knock him off is NOT to entice him with the buster at all. It's actually quit simple to lure him into attacking, do a simple jump or air hike away from him then counter with a stinger and combo. The moment he blocks, retreat, rinse and repeat. It's always best to stay on defense and evasive with Credo and it works pretty well and faster. And never use devil trigger until he's vulnerable for the buster attack. (shield breaks)

You have to first collect red orbs (drop from enemies) then at the end of every level you can purchase something with those red orbs. The thing that increases your health is the blue orb, or u can collect blue orb fragments throughout the levels and when u get 4 of them it raises your health

Go around to his unguarded side every time he stops attacking, do it about 6-7 times or so, the shield will break then you can do the real buster

True. Needs to learn to keep up the offensive to break Credo down. Ex-Streaks and Double Downs keeps him on his toes. Simple jumps and rolls to avoid his attacks (Credo lacks combos like most bosses in this one). Lastly, you can buster the thrown lances for lots of extra style.

When angelo credo throws his sword at you, a well timed buster counter enables nero to throw the sword back for heavy damage, something that makes this otherwise annoying boss easier.

Yes there are actually quite a few. Snatching the thrown swords will yield a small green orb if you want health.

While stunned use that chance to get in that long buster combo. DTing the move will give a few extra Yamato slashes and stabs.

If you do a full charge shot with gun its brilliant for getting combo rating...and also do exceed and streak attack, its useful, but only use it as counter attack

u should try only buster, just after his 4hit combo, jump R1+O him then he will fly to where u jumped and do a 4hit combos, u just keep rolling next to him. when he uses his air wave thing which hit 180degree, u can buster after he done with that. also when he threw his lance, u side roll close to him(not jump or stay far away)then buster.

Repeatedly hit his shield till it stops glowing and Nero will be able to do a more damaging Buster to Credo.

If it's none DT'd, then Nero will only do an uppercut.

You get the stab version if you're DT'd during the Buster.

Well, it's not exactly Aura of Swords because they don't fly around Nero, unless they're different variations of the attack. Instead, the sword are lined up with Credo, like a phalanx and then are shot at Nero's direction, not circling around him. It's somewhat like Thrown Swords only they're smaller and Credo himself doesn't launch them. I dunno, I'll try and capture an image of it or something.

Are you aware of the technique called the Instant Rev(IR)? Basically, you know that normally to charge the Exceed lamps you have to do so with multiple button presses while you aren't attacking; however, if you hit the button (LT or L2) just after an attack, you'll instantly charge one lamp of the Exceed meter. If you get good at doing this, you can virtually always have Exceed attacks instead of normal ones.

The boss fights have been a lot of fun, too. I particularly loved this one, which I just completed today.

So far in the series, I've always seen the action divded into two parts. One you play, one you see in the cinemas which is a little crazier. But it wasn't until THIS boss fight that I felt like the full potential of DMC has finally been reached.
