Ha ha You people are so funny, we wasn't trying to point out that woman don't learn, and they didn't learn. What he is saying is, that woman without torah are already on loftier level than we are so practically speaking they don't NEED to learn to be close to Hashem where as us guys do need to learn. Inherently the nervous systems of women are too subtle and refined for most men to comprehend -- maybe that's why men are so intimidated and afraid of women? Maybe that's why the religious ones need to be so exclusive in their worship, need to push the women aside. Seems to me however that women read the same Torah, seems to me that G-d does not discriminate. Women should feel free to express the holy spirit in their own hearts. minds, and lives and not look to men for permission or validation.

If you aren't familiar with the extensive statements in the Gemara, Zohar and other parts of the Torah Sh'Baal Peh that discuss the greatness, importance of and power of tzadikim, you need to learn more Torah. You can start with the RaMChaL if you want something more "litvish".

he didn't say we didn't *need* Torah, he was implying that we don't have an obligation. As Jewish women, we *choose* to study Torah, where as Jewish men have no choice, they *must*. What a fantastic video, by the way!
