@amme191 That wasn't a license plate, it's a temporary plate used by the manufacturer so they can test the car on public road without having to register it first.
Ashley Wickham should shut up and let the engineers talk about the car, he's full of management hot air and bullshit. I'd love to park a Mulsanne on his face.
Inside = Yes, Outside = hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah heh heh heh hehehehehe ha ha ha her her he him her hit he ha hea
I think any car manufacturer should produce only cars that those people that worked on them and helped to assemble them, can afford to buy for themselves...this is clearly not one of those cars...dare I say, this technology that has been around for years in many other luxury brands is just now being put into the Bentley brand, you are behind the times, ths car should have technology no other car has, but it does not...for the price it should.
@JOHNINCOLUMBUS People won't buy this because it can go 0-60 in 3 seconds. Or because it has an E-Diff. They buy it because of the luxury, exclusivity, craftsmanship and it's so high priced because almost every single thing is hand built or crafted. Technology doesn't mean a damn thing in something like this. This is a car to be driven in, not a car to drive.
@nettoblaster - No, that's rational fair thinking...if a person works for a car company, any car company, and they don't ear enough wages to buy the very product they are creating, how is that communist, I think it's disproportionate wealth distribution...if Mr. Millionaire wants a Rolls Royce, Bentley, Veyron, let him build his own. There will always be those that work for money rather than principle...the Banksters & Wall Street own Brantley's ...and you see how that turned out.
@nettoblaster - If you have the money to buy one of these cars, I will also say you do not work on the assembly line at Bentley. You might work in the corporate office as the CEO, but not one of the laborers that actually "make" the car. This is where wealth and labor part, this is where you are the slave to the machine rather than the other way around. It's a beautiful car, but is it "worth" the price it takes to build it, the human cost? You think not...hmm.
@nettoblaster - Bentley workers walk out again .... "My Current Job: No pay rise in 3 years and an "optional" EU Working Time Directive Opt-out which means I regularly have to do 60 hours over six days each week."
That is one workers voice...Google Crewe TV: Bentley workers walk out again...then tell me about the car.
@JOHNINCOLUMBUS A job in the automotive industry is not a secure job. Full stop. But going back to your original point about the workers, and fairness. It's much better for the workers at Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin that it is for workers at GM and Ford: You get paid better, you get trained to a very high standard until you are a master of your craft rather than glueing dashboards on all day long. And at the end of it all you are creating a peice of excellence, not junk.

I think rolls royce went the right way with the minimalistic approach to their interior design... unfortunately their design is hard to like.

Still, I'm wondering what cars these workers do use...
minazmorgul 10 months ago
@minazmorgul They "use" the same cars you do. Because they are the same as you...and me. Do you eat McDonalds just cause you work there?

@djddavies Sorry, man, I have no car, still studying, and I really rarely eat Macdonald, yeahh, something like that

@JOHNINCOLUMBUS - if this were the case, then the only cars produced would be ford focuses and toyota camrys

@JOHNINCOLUMBUS Bentley's are built by highly skilled craftsmen. I'd rather be doing that than glueing some plastic junk on $15k car all day long.

@nettoblaster - Highly skilled craftsmen, that I don't dispute, I would like to know what their wages are, could you tell me that?
