I was just there this past weekend. It was raining the whole time and didn't make it out to the beach..It's a shame that no one cares about the continuous flow of oil still affecting our coast, because me and my buddies have had some good times out there...When I visit my friend again I will definitely keep my eye out for oil and dispersant.

My heart goes out to all the People and Animals and the Environment. Been telling everyone that the Oil did not just evaporate....this is indeed heartbreaking. Repercussions from this spill and the damned "dispersement" will last for several decades to come. Some Reefs and Aquatic life will NEVER be the same. I still say, dump those responsible in the Ocean, let them get covered in Oil, make them clean up what can be cleaned up, prosecute them for crimes against Humanity and the Environment..

They should've just let the oil sit on the surface and skim and suck it up with Kelp Harvesters and Vacuum ships. Now there are going to be the MASSIVE dead zones of decay. When things decay in water the process eats up the oxygen in the surrounding water. Marine Live needs oxygen to live. So, any Life in or around these zones, if it can't swim or crawl away fast enough, will die.  And in theory the Dead Zone grows. A Snow Ball effect if you will.

This is just depressing. BP has screwed a large part of the Gulf of Mexico and the damage is unfortunately not over. The Corexit dispersant causes the oil to sink out of sight. But storms will continue to wash it up on shores. In case you don't understand what the dispersant does;

It causes the cell membranes of the oil to hemorrhage & burst. Now, that same dispersant is doing the same thing to all living things it comes into contact with.

Marine Life, Mammals and Sea Birds and it passes on.

Could you do a small test about this water?

Take aout a glass of seawater and drop a bit oil in it. Watch out what is going on an tape that. If this oil disperses into the water, that will show us if this corexit is still active.

If this oil stays on the surface then this water should be ok.

Pleas take a clear water sample. That makes us clear that this corexit is everywhere. And i`m sure it will disperse.
