in my honest opinion anders is the best tech-minimal producer alive. The last resort is his masterpiece ofc. Why i say this? I listened to many tech-minimal artists and after u spin their songs 3, 4, 5 times u get tired of them. With Anders it´s different. Seems like these songs never get old.

@Smo1k Yeah true, it's different ITGWY but it has its merits. Anders said he didn't want to make the same album twice, and that's a valid reason. His interests have moved on from minimal electronic, but he keeps to an extent that dark sound we all love. But I understand that the album does not have the same meticulous finish and detail The Last Resort has, but yet it is still quite interesting. In my opinion The Last Resort is the better album.

@controller16 I absolutely agree with you. In my opinion it is the greatest album ever made, Trentemoller is may favourite artist. I have been listening to the album for over two years now and I always find something new in each song every time. Never have I heard such musical brilliance before. Bad artistic expression like that is for a diary; in a community you should strive for actual communication of what you think.

Why encourage a post like that? It doesn't mean anything. If he wanted to say that the song reminds him of a club, that's cool. You didn't say "Crabscrab... blue glass... steam... cunt... " because you wanted people to actually understand your point. Thanks, that's all I ever wanted.

@Crabcrabs It's so true though. Why should we settle for poor grammar, nonsense, and bigotry in our Youtube comments when we can strive for so much more? Or is a productive dialogue too much to ask? Are people really that dumb?

Trentemoller is pretty amazing by the way. His work actually does have a lot more depth to it than many other similar producers; in other words, he doesn't recycle the same kinds of sounds and chord progressions you'll find in a lot of minimal and deep house.
