david oliver is the slopiest hurdler that ever won a race. i hate seeing winners knock over every hurdle down the track and still win. that makes you a fast runner NOT a great hurdler. glad he is losing now.
@jc2007rose Not to be rude but thats ignorant. If you were a hurdler you would know that DO has some of the best technique EVER. Every hurdler hits hurdles and its a remarkable hurdler that can hit and come back like DO. Just because he runs a "sloppy" race doesn't mean hes winning because hes faster. The truth is there are probably plenty of people in the race who could beat him on the flat. He's winning because ultimately his technique is better. If you had ever run barriers youd know that.
@jc2007rose also he continues to hit the hurdles down the track because he already hit one or had a bad start. Like @xcrunner000 said, its crazy hard to not hit a hurdle after already hitting one. The fact that he can hit and still generate that type of speed means his technique is better than everybody else. If hitting barriers allowed you to run a faster race then nobody would need technique. The strongest person would have the world record. Since Dayron isn't that strong that theory dies.
Terrible race by Oliver. Bad start, veered to the right at hurdle 2, hit six hurdles. To the plus, Richardson ran an almost perfect race for him, nice start and didn't touch a hurdle. Great race.
@kingkevin1996 amazing how richardson can generate that speed with that crazy lead arm smh. that windmill i guess it works for him the same way the double arm shoot worked for the late great rod milburn.
i feel bad for lane seven right next to that board thingy
