As a bus driver, I sometimes drive through Emsworth on the 700 and never noticed the 1930s art deco building. I find arc deco architecture something of between. You either love it or hate it, but I for one is undecided. I think in the 30s, something like art deco was quite forward and bold.
Thanks for this video, I was here a few weeks ago with my Mum visiting her friends. I love the Harbour. I live in Bath now,but I lived here when I was little (in the 80's), wish I could move back!! :-)
Another great Video. Just saw this today. I went to Emsworth to visit my Cousin in 2005 & 2006. so go I went back again. They have since moved to Australia. Oh well.
I have eaten at the "Fat Olive" and the cafe as well. Ahh the memories.
Emsworth, yes it's a lovely little town, but crap for shopping, everybody is retired, you can never get a parking space and unless you want to pay for overpriced goods and eat in expensive crap restaurants, best go elsewhere.
