  • I am so glad this is on here. I heard this song on KBOO radio years ago and couldn't wait till they came to Portland. I had tickets but I missed the show because, ironically, I was having sex with a stranger. The next thing I knew he was dead in that awful way. What a waste of talent!! Great Vid!

  • best show I went to in 91 , little bar on 1st st in San Jose across from the old Catus Club , both now gone I'm sad to say , but the music will never die .. LONG LIVE BUCK NAKED AND THE BARE BOTTOM BOY

  • Gigged with Buck in L.A., S.F., and Sacto. Great guy, and a "big" talent!

  • I had almost forgotten about this. !uck and the boys were the shit they stayed with me when they played in Iowa in 88. Moved to SF and visited them Baker street...good times great band!!!

  • I saw them circa 1990 at Al's Bar, located just east of downtown LA between Dodger Stadium and Skid Row, with a microphone attached to a toilet seat he wore around his head. It was a sad day when he died.

  • Rest in peace, Buck. One of the best shows Ive ever seen.

  • I wish this was a better video. it is so almost right. Buck was so fantastic live. I really wish this did the band justice, It is however such a product of the time that having beensaid, there is nothing but to thank the maker for making it.

  • I remember these guys from early 80s in Omaha at the Dannibraug cafe on Leavenworth st. Along with Toxic Reasons, The Replacements, Husker Du etc. What a great time to be in the big "O", ...anybody? Every time I went to the Haircut Market downtown another cosmologist would tell me that she was dating Buck Naked..."If you ain't in the meat wagon, get out of the bread basket"...

  • This music video kicks ass from start to finish!! Thank you so much for uploading this cause it was my real introduction to the band ....have known about them for 7 years..........anyway 5 STARS!!!

  • Campiest of the camp

  • Imagine the movie that would go with this song :)

  • What's their connection with Primus? I saw Herb (Primus' drummer) play on a drumkit that had the Buck Naked... bass drum skin in the video from 'Wynona's Big Brown Beaver'

  • They made that video shortly after Buck was killed and did that in tribute to him. From what I know they all knew each other well. Both bands played the same club circuit in the San Francisco bay area, Buck also worked the door at a couple of clubs in the city as well, The I Beam and the Paradise Lounge.

  • @StevenHoste

I grew up with the guitarist as a child. When I saw their drumset in a primus video I called David and asked him what's up with that. He was now with a band called the Kamakazis. He said Buck Naked was a huge influence on them so they bought up their equipment.

  • I knew a guy who called himself Pastor Buck Naked in Dallas in 1980. Had a band called Buck Naked and the JayBirds (Country Music's Last Hope). Of course this guy is a thousand times better than the Buck I knew. Buck played autohapr and banjo. Had another band called Doctors for Dinosaurs.

  • Thanks for posting this. It was a sad turning point in many of our lives when Buck was killed. I can't believe it has been this long... I have a copy of your video, and have been very happy to have it many times. Thanks again!

  • Not that I know of, unless the former band members have some live footage.

  • wasnt the singer of korn in this band

  • didnt the singer of koRn jd was in this band?

  • I worked at a dub house and was a huge fan. I approached Buck at the Paradise Lounge and asked him about making a video. He said he already had one and their appearance on the Joan Rivers Show and asked if I would put them on tape to send out as a demo. So I did and gave he and Hector a bunch to send out... the absolute sweetest guys. It was shortly after that he was killed. I held on to one just because I was such a huge fan ...being able to share it now this way is really wonderful.

  • bless you. He is smiling down on us all.

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! Where did you get it? It's about time Buck is on youtube!

  • Remember.?.. he was murdered for feeding pigeons

  • not quite. He was murdered by a psycho pigeon feeder while he was walking his dog in the middle of the night. He thought Buck's dog was chasing his pigeons and he shot him. Tragedy! Thank you for keeping his memory alive.

  • Sorry, it's been a few years since his untimely passing, happened in the panhandle as I recall. Loved his shows, so entertaining, wonder what would have became of his talent?
