The score was close but the Sabres had the game all the way. The rangers players after the game said they were the better team in the series. Whatever.
@ferret6677 Wrong the score was close because the rangers made mistake after mistake after mistake and they missed about 1,000 chances. They played much better overall but their mistakes cost them in this game and obviously game 5. Buffalo got an amazing series from Miller that kept them in it and frustrated the Rangers into making mistakes that cost them the series.
My god at 5:53 the way that roar builds can you imagine if that shot had gone in? The craziest game i've ever seen and my favorite by far. Even though my team lost...
@Spiller716 eh i dont really have a connection to buffalo at all. Might as well be ottowa to me at least. Sorry but hatin is part of the fun of sports too. Don't really hate the Sabres regardless. they're a real well run franchise that always busts ass without a big star.

@Spiller716 It's regional. Not just about being in my state. I don't like the rangers just because they are in my state. I was exposed to them and fell in love with this team over other teams. Just the way it is. Part of what originally got me into them is of course they are in my region b ut I could've easily liked NJ or the isles. Or Pitt or philly all in the same area. Something about the blueshirts sucked me in.
look we gave the sabres a good series and we came close of winning the series and this year we have a much better team with the signing of gomez and last years sabres leading scorer. i cant forget that jager and the goalie languist r playing out their minds right now. lets go rangers

How prophetic you were. The Senators had beaten the tougher teams in more convincing fashion than the sabres beat their teams. Senators beat the 5th and 2nd seeded teams while the sabres had a tougher than expected match against 8th seeded Islanders and were LUCKY to get by the 6th seeded Rangers.

If Buffalo had even an average pp that year they would have beaten teams by even more goals. They went 1-10 on the pp in one game vs NY.
