JJ, Excellent work! I've been watching all your videos and am impressed. So much that I went out and got me a Canon Vixia HF S20 and am using Corel VideoStudio Pro X3. I'm very new to making films and editing, but with all your films and tips, I hope to make some really nice ones. Thanks and keep them coming!
@jorgeantonio326 Thank you so much Jorge for the compliments. I really think you will enjoy your camera & software. I'm happy that I can help you... "At least you wont have to spend the OCD hours that I did." lol. I will be looking foward to seeing your videos. Thanks again...
JJ, Here is the procedure that (Smokeygoodness) gave me. When I finish editing a video, and click on "Share", I mouse down to where it says "HD Video" and choose the option "HDV for Computer". And render from there. It takes a whole lot longer than a direct upload to you tube, or even rendering as a windows media file, and it also takes a horrendously long time to upload, but I think the results are worth the long wait! Hope this helps!
@careydude : Thanks Carey... HDV for PC, thats a huge file @ 18,300kbps. & for being an MPEG-2. Youtube sucks up Mpeg-4 files nice & clean. You will get better compression w/ mpeg-4 & not as huge. "Don,t forget about youtube's compression." I think it looks about the same or better. Try it. Custom. Mpeg-4 1080p @30Fps. 7,500kbps or 720p @ 29.7Fps. 5,000kbps.
Thanks for the reply on the video help and comment on my grand children. I got some help on my downloading procedure from another youtuber and it sure helped. Iam shooting the video with a canon hf 200 and editing on corel video pro 3. I will send you the procedure that " Smokeygoodness" gave me on the uploading in the coral and then to youtube on another comment. I believe that I finally got it, thank goodness!
Hello, Very nice looking video. Could you please tell me how you get that quality of video on you? I am useing a canon vixia hf200 and editing in corel video studio pro x3 also but I cant get it to look anything like this on youtube. Mine looks great before I render it to youtube but it looks crapyon you tube. Please help me.
@careydude Thanks Carey.. I used Mpeg4..Compression H.264-Main @ 10,000 kbps. for 1080p or 5000 kbps. for 720p videos. At 720p I use 29.97 frame rate & at 1080p it only lets you use 30 frame/sec. Frame type is Frame -based. I hope this helped... Also I checked out your Mad & Meg vid, it looks dam good. Your a lucky man, precious little children.
