thanks for posting this. The Man from Snowy River really was one of those great Aussie movies from the 80's; terrific photography and music like this made it a hit. A pity they ruined it was that dreadful sequel.

Im a mans man and I dont mean that in a weird way. In this day and age people might take that statement differently. considering my posting. My grandmother loved to record her favorite movies off of the TV. When this movie aired she did just that. It became one of our favorite movies to watch together. she died a couple years back at the age of 91. I miss her terribly, they broke the mold with her. Anyways I thought I might share that with whomever. Great movie and music.

The Theme in My Living Room is Horses and I grew up riding and watching my sisters compete and win in competitions.

There were many mornings I'd wake up at the crack of dawn and go Ride Big Red bare back for hours.....Nothing compares to riding on a horse while its running full speed. Great memories
