thanks for this vid. It's very refreshing. Manila and Makati streets were cleaner then, and my mother told me it's because plastic wrappers and other nonbiodegradable packaging were not heavily used then (or weren't used then?). Those electric wires and lampposts are still around though, and I think they spoil the view, particularly of old Manila architecture in Intramuros. Wish the government would do something about this. Thanks also for using John Williams on Spanish guitar.

Manila used to be a great clean city. First time i visit was in 1990 and it was still in good condition, after a decade, too much trash and pollution. after 8 years, more trash and pollution in the street and stinky looking place. I don't blame it mostly on the people living there because government officials are not doing their job properly, also the police doesn't care. W/ lack of discipline and good strick regulations plus corrupt useless politicians what do we expect.
