  • 01:20 John F. Kennedy visited Berlin on 26th of June 1963 and not in 1961; the Berlin Wall was constructed on 13th August 1961; whoever of Merkel's dumbass wrote this speech should buy some glasses...

  • Pelosi is a filthy Jew.

  • After defeating Germany in WWII the United States did not make Germany pay war reparations, nor did they establish a puppet government, they gave Germany back to the German people. When Germany was decimated after the war the US granted Germany 1.5 billion to reinvigorate their economy. How did France and Britain treat you after WWI? How did the USSR treat you after WWII? When you take issue with actions of the US don't criticize America from afar, work with us! help us! As we helped you...

  • fuck you merkel

  • lol another uneducated stupid american , lol

  • I hate the way she uses the term 'Europeans' when she actually means 'Citizens of the European Union'. Europe is NOT the EU. Federalist bitch.

  • can everyone stop this Nazi shit, no need to correlate Germany with Nazis. get over it. its been over 60 years now.

  • @frrrrrrunkisdotcom Yeah, bad experiences in the whole world committed by americans.

Maybe you didn't realize that your US government killed more people in the last 60 years than the nazis in ww2. Everyone in this world confirms that your US government made this world a dangerous place, and it was your US government that brought terrorsim to this world by irresponsible wars against international law. So please shut up, you illiterate moron!

  • For us who grew up in West-Germany, America was some kind of ideal state, we kids adored the soldiers we met and tried to speak to them. Though our English was very poor, we understood each other somehow and it was fun. My mother even cooked for them and we brought meals to them in their tanks. I think it's those personal encounters that shape your image of another country. And by they way: Americans were also very much liked in East-Germany as well, despite all the communist propaganda.

  • Haha ^^

Ich glaube, da bist du hier bei einem Video einer politischen Rede genau richtig ^^ ...

Glaub mir, so klappt das nicht. Aber viel Glück ;)

  • Don't like that Merkel, keep her in the US please.

  • If you would be informed (and that's what you pretend to be), you would know that the NPD is on the index of the "Verfassungsschutz". So stop telling the German government would protect them. In a democratic society you cannot simply "forbid" a group or party. That would be socialism or fascism.

Anyway, Germans don't hate America, they only hate ignorant people like you. At least I do ;-)

  • Actually, the constitutional courts of many European countries have the power to ban and forbid any party if they are found guilty of trying to destabilize or tear down the constitutional order of that country or call to violence and/or war.

It's not common, true, but it's still an option. And it's neither fascism nor socialism (I mean, socialism, really?!), but rather a safety mechanism. No one wants the history (e.g. the Nuremberg rallies) to repeat itself, now do we?

  • Why the german government is not able to see the ENORMOUS differences between the NDP and parties like Die Republikaner? Instead of being tolerant, they criminalize every right-wing populist movement (NOT neonazi), while in Europe many populists parties are doing well

  • unfortunately yes, there are legally protected extreme right-wing parties in germany. but that's called plurality of opinions. and it has to be respected as well as the extreme left-wing parties. even if its unpleasent.

i thought you, as an american could understand that as best.

  • I've been to Germany many times and my fiance is German. From my perspective the NPD is just a bunch of unemployed people that blame all their problems on foreigners and other races. Not much different than the KKK here... and they are a small minority. The vast majority of normal Germans I've talked to share the same basic values as Americans and, though they may disagree with our politics at times, they really do value the friendship between America and Germany.

  • Don't call Germans Nazis because of the NPD. Germany is about the most anti-nazi place on earth, with the exception of Israel. Most countries have ugly parts of their history, and America is no exception. We were the last country left on earth to still have slavery. It is true that freedom must be struggled for.

Germans have gone through their own struggle for freedom since WW2, they are free and democratic and deserve the utmost respect from Americans. Calling them Nazis is disrespectful!

  • you my friend are an absolute idiot

  • And what would you have them do about the party? What happened to political freedom? I do by no means support a Nazi party, but they are protected as any other political party. And you'll find them several places in the world, although marginal everywhere. We'll just have to fight them rationally and not with brute force.

As to Germans hating Americans; I thought that was more of a European trend? :P

  • The more of your "comments" I read, the more I get the feeling that if you have bad experiences in Germany (or anywhere else), perhaps it might not be because you're foreign, but because you're just an ignorant jerk. Ever thought of that?

  • What the hell? :D where are you from? =D the biggest shit i ever read. Nazis in germany ... yes ther are people who are nazis, but look to the USA if you want to wear a nazi symbol you can. there are so much nazis in the USA i would say there are more than in Germany. If you try to demonstrate as a nazi, there are 100 others how are demonstrating against you.

  • @gamernets in america there are more nazis than in germany...!

  • @StanfourBoy that is what i say !!!

  • @gamernets

Yes... I totally agree... The most actual proof of right-wing extremism can be seen in America: That tea party movement. Shame on you, calling yourself democrats!

  • What about part 3?
