@punkasskid53 Magpul (the uploader) is the company that originally designed and made the rifle. It was originally called the Magpul Masada, then they sold the design to Bushmaster who renamed it the ACR and made a few changes. They don't have the capacity to mass produce rifles right now.

@cfx3 This is a function test, the rifle is bench-rested, and no optics are currently attached. Its kinda hard to "spray fire" when you can't move your point of aim. Please, stick to video games; leave real firearms to people who actually shoot.

the ACR fires both 5.56 and 7.62. you can change the internals so it can fire both types of rounds.

No. The ACR will come in 5.56x45, 6.5 Grendel, and 6.8 SPC. You have to change the barrel, magazine, and bolt.

Neither Bushmaster or Remington (military version) list 7.62x39. The calibers I listed are on Remington's site. Bushmaster doesn't list 6.5 Grendel.

There shouldn't be a ban like that again at least for a good while. The first ban was a total failure, and we can argue that point. Just last year a bill for a new ban was created and it was shot down in no time. I don't think we need to worry about anything especially with the Supreme Court Decision on the Heller case. The Anti-Gun lobby was punched hard in the jaw by that. They got to wait a while for their mouth to heal after that, lol.

Actually, you're incorrect about the bill being shot down. It's HR 1022 and was introduced by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy [D-NY]. It's in committee and is gaining more sponsors as time goes by. You can bet that if Obama becomes President, it will get fast tracked to his desk and he will sign it.

While DC vs Heller was a victory for pro-gun citizens, it has nothing to do with the new "Assault Weapons" Ban. The decision said DC residents have a right to keep a firearm in their home. That's it.
