I could also go into how TJ, a black character was the Red Ranger (Turbo) and the Blue Ranger (Space) and many other follow characters after were blue rangers or green rangers. Who by the way were black.

Other Black Power Rangers being other races...that aren't black following Mighty Morphin...so again, your comment is a moot statement.

Not really. Tommy was basically put on bus for 2/3 of the series, after him being encased in amber and then not doing much of anything after being able to unmorph. Though we got a focused episode on him when he had to fight his past selves. Honestly this series was on it's own a really good series, going back to the roots of "Teenagers with attitude," only this time they were a team of misfit teens.

One thing I nvr understood is how Tommy could let THAT Red Ranger "call the shots" I mean I didn't get to watch much b/c didn't have the time to watch EVERY episode but it still seemed like Red was calling the shots even though Tommy has been uh...what 4x the ranger? Green White Red Red...yeah I think so...but w/e I like the show a bit more then the others after Galaxy I give it a 4/5.

Yes, yes. We get it. After Time Force, the whole series went downhill. But you can go downhill from great to good. Dino Thunder was the last series where the Power Rangers kicked ass.

Even without Tommy, this season was amazing. The main 3 rangers were likable, the White ranger was a pure badass, the bad guy is.... really freakin intimidating, and just listening to him you know he'll kick your head in without thinking twice. Quite honestly, Tommy is just a really awesome bonus. The theme song is great as well.

All they needed was Bulk and Skull for this season to be perfect :(

African-American ONLY refers to Blacks who are descendants of the African slaves who were brought to the US. Just like Asian and Latino is for all their sub groups.

For JDF's contract issues, Tommy was barey in this season. He acted as a mentor more than being on the field, filming was in NZ and JDF had his wife /kids in US, so he spend half the season having plotdevices that made him frozen in ice, or restricted to ranger form and unable to demorph.

Most of the time, Tommy wasn't even on the field, and JDF himself wasn't there for filming.

This is one of the good seasons. When I was a kid I loved Power Rangers. I could never remember any of the Mighty Morphin or Zeo Actors and Actresses names, Jason David Frank was the only one I remembered. When I first saw this series as soon as I saw his name I go hey look its Tommy.
