I just want to let you know that I've never smiled so much about my makeup until now. I truly feel beautiful and I absolutely love the way it turned out. I can't believe I've been missing out on this my whole life. This shows that men are just as talented with makeup (or better in this case), than many women out there. Thank you so much for making me appreciate myself even more now. :)

I am just getting into make up like without looking like a kid or middle school student again. I'm 18 and next yr going on to college. could u make a make uo tutorial for college?
Thank you so much! I love your videos they're so informative, direct, and to the point - you're definitely my favorite YT MUA. I only wish I'd had someone like you to teach me all this stuff back when I was younger instead of now in my late 30's, but better late than never! Much love and gratitude x
WOW.....more men should wear make up like this, then maybe i would want to date some guy who takes care of himself and not sitting in a curry house watching them talk with their mouth full, and sloppy food stuck to their chin and dirty nails etc.....i have to say you look amazing doing this!
I absolutely luvvvv this video and i think this is gonna be my new routine for makeup cuz i luv how u did everything and the end result was phenomenal. Thank you for doing this.
I love this man. I've been watching tutorials for a long time to discover tricks and tid bits of information, and I have to say that Goss has showed me more valuable information in the last 30 minutes that all of the tutorials I've watched combined! Thanx You!!! I'm going to go play around with my make up now, lawls :)
You do such a great job on your videos. I feel like I'm learning so much from you and really appreciate the work that you're doing. For some reason (I think because I was always careful to apply makeup with a light hand) I felt unduly confident of my makeup skills. Now I see this. I'm in my mid-fifties and it's wonderful to learn new and better ways of improving my appearance. You're making a difference in my life. Thank you.
So informative and easy to follow! I did this today and everyone kept asking me if I went to the spa last night and couldn't stop telling me how great my skin looked. They did not say how great the make up looked which I take as a compliment. They just noticed me looking better.
I really love your videos because I feel like when gay men make videos and do makeup they feel like they have to be....flaming! And I love that you are yourself and not obnoxious! :D love the vids. keep goin! <3 ps im NOT hating on homosexual people. I'm just stating what I've found :)

So if you were stranded on a desert island, (ie), what would you take with you? Would you prefort MUD or Illimasqua (if so what type), powder? How important is a stipple brush? And that can be achieved by all! I've been a makeup artist for 15 years or more and am passionate about it as an art! Well done video!

Gorgeous look! I have two main problems though-I'm scared of foundation but the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturiser doesn't seem to give a full enough coverage on me so I'm never a blank canvas. Second - brushes and I always think the ones you use look too big for me to handle properly. Lack of confidence mainly-want to look pretty but never seem to manage to and getting older and older now (hit the big 40 a couple of weeks ago) so the job of looking pretty gets ever harder!
Your videos are absolutely wonderful deary. You do what so many do NOT, which exactly go through step-by-step and explain what you are doing and why. I've avoided foundation brushes for years as I've always found it created a rather cakey look once the powder was applied but I'll look for the brush you use. You also look like a young me you sexy bitch hehehe. Cheers and keep em coming! xoxo
It's strange because i have moderately oily skin and putting the oil on your face made me shudder. Is it true that washing oily skin with an oil will help with acne ?
@hollister5888 lol no he said "i always do my foundation first because i think its stupid to do my concealer first because I will just rub it all away when i blend my foundation"
this is shameful, I consider myself a makeup addict and you look more feminine, classy and put together in general than I do when I wear these same type of products, my gawd I need to hone my techniques! Thanks for this!
Just found your videos and think you are amazing!!..I learned a new trick or two ,by watching you. Please keep doing these, because the more education on how to properly apply make-up,the better..Thanks!
i've just discovered you, liked the videos i've seen so i've subscribed but i have to say - you keep confusing OIL with MOISTURE - it's not the same thing. you can have very oily skin but at the same time lack moisture. which is actually very often cos what ppl do when they have oily skin is they dry to dry it out.. then their skin needs even more moisture.. not to mention they provoke the skin to produce more oil. it's vicious circle if you don;t know what you're doing :/
i noticed u used the fix+ as a toner, but i usually use it as the final step so my makeup "sinks in" and looks more natural. i was wondering, what is the purpose of a toner?
I have a big problemen with my dark circles : first they are really dark because of my allergie and my skin tone (middle tone of skin) and I have fine wrinkles. so when I put a corrector and concealor I have my wrinkles very very visible( the products go into the wrinkles )
I have juste 30 and use bobbi brown concealer or clinique full coverage and YSL touch of light in peach so what can I do. It would be really kind if you can give me an advise. thanks :)
@sosofie2011 Hi! Im 20 and my problem is that my undereyes have massive bluish blackish darkness. Kinda looks like I got punched in the eyes. The thing is that I am an NW20 skin shade from mac. But, my undereyes are not because no matter how much concealer I use, it looks awful and green. So I use the bobbie brown color corrector(like 4 layers of it) and then more concealer on top. Its rediculous. I use those first, and
then set my undereys and whole face with the mac studio fix powder foundation. but, i really pack it on. then i use fix+ from mac to blend it all together. if you could reccomend something for me to do..... i have the ysl too but dont really like it. if there is a foundation/concealer duo maby that you could reccomend? anything not powder....
@superya91 I use now the brigthning serum from nuxe under the eyes and it lighten my under eyes by 50% and as a concealer i use the infaillible l'oréal in 04 beige doré and I'm fairy skin tone (I use as a fondation guerlain parure extreme in 02 and the concelar precious light in 02 also) and the combination of the 3 guerlain + l'oréal is really very good for very dark under eyes circles. hope it was useful :)
@sosofie2011 then set my undereys and whole face with the mac studio fix powder foundation. but, i really pack it on. then i use fix+ from mac to blend it all together. if you could reccomend something for me to do..... i have the ysl too but dont really like it. if there is a foundation/concealer duo maby that you could reccomend? anything not powder....
you don't look much more different after makeup. almost exactly the same. btw, when you're lining the top water line, you shouldn't pull on your eyelid, because that will cause early wrinkles.
I don't understand make-up. I mean, you do already have a face. Why in the world would you put another one over that, that you have to paint on again every day and wipe off every night, and all that make-up is expensive and in the end no one of value will like you any more or less because of it, and if you feel prettier with make-up on, it's a hollow thing because underneath it you're still as plain as you ever were.
@janeyanna To enhance and highlight your features. To not look as if you're tired or have discoloration on your skin. To feel prettier doesn't always mean a person who applies makeup didn't feel pretty in the first place. When you look better, you feel better anyway.
@yoshidragon2 But why would you want to hide that? And behind some generic, obviously fake layer of pigment, too? Where's the difference between that and an outright mask? Add some botox to the mix and you have a mask, actually, stiff and without emotion.
@janeyanna If it looks like a mask, then it is because the person applied it wrong. Why not conceal things like discoloration, dark eye circles, acne and scars of any kind? They aren't exactly attractive. They bring unwanted and annoying attention and sometimes look like you don't take care of yourself. Also, botox? The hell? People can still move their faces with makeup on and show emotion. Unlike an outright mask, you can still look like yourself.
Why would I want to please people who judge me based on the condition of my skin?
Spots, zits, scars, that's what people do have on their faces. It's a part of themselves. Why is a human face 'less than', unless you make it look like something it's not.
Other animals are seen as beautiful just the way they are. How often do you see a dog, cat or bird with an 'ugly' face? It's just us homo sapiens who have to hide their faces in order to be called 'beautiful'.
@janeyanna Looking bad says negative things about one's character. People seeing swollen red bumps on your face filled with pus, crackling dry skin, & beyond etc shows them you don't even bother with yourself. No one cares if those things are a part of them, it looks unhealthy & makes people self conscious enough as it is. Again, if makeup makes you look like something you're not, then it is being applied wrong. Oh please on the animal bit. I see ugly cats & dogs on a regular basis. Irrelevant.~
wow that's so many steps. how long did it take you to do that? i have a big problem with my chinese eyes..they're single lid and tiny; and it's hard for me to get that perfect eyeshadows. any advices how to make it perfect?

i've just discovered you, liked the videos i've seen so i've subscribed but i have to say - you keep confusing OIL with MOISTURE - it's not the same thing. you can have very oily skin but at the same time lack moisture. which is actually very often cos what ppl do when they have oily skin is they dry to dry it out.. then their skin needs even more moisture.. not to mention they provoke the skin to produce more oil. it's vicious circle if you don;t know what you're doing :/

i noticed u used the fix+ as a toner, but i usually use it as the final step so my makeup "sinks in" and looks more natural. i was wondering, what is the purpose of a toner?

@superya91 I use now the brigthning serum from nuxe under the eyes and it lighten my under eyes by 50% and as a concealer i use the infaillible l'oréal in 04 beige doré and I'm fairy skin tone (I use as a fondation guerlain parure extreme in 02 and the concelar precious light in 02 also) and the combination of the 3 guerlain + l'oréal is really very good for very dark under eyes circles. hope it was useful :)

where do you buy/order your make-up?
NormalBadGood 6 months ago
you don't look much more different after makeup. almost exactly the same. btw, when you're lining the top water line, you shouldn't pull on your eyelid, because that will cause early wrinkles.

I don't understand make-up. I mean, you do already have a face. Why in the world would you put another one over that, that you have to paint on again every day and wipe off every night, and all that make-up is expensive and in the end no one of value will like you any more or less because of it, and if you feel prettier with make-up on, it's a hollow thing because underneath it you're still as plain as you ever were.
janeyanna 6 months ago
@janeyanna To enhance and highlight your features. To not look as if you're tired or have discoloration on your skin. To feel prettier doesn't always mean a person who applies makeup didn't feel pretty in the first place. When you look better, you feel better anyway.
yoshidragon2 6 months ago in playlist goss wayne 42
@yoshidragon2 But why would you want to hide that? And behind some generic, obviously fake layer of pigment, too? Where's the difference between that and an outright mask? Add some botox to the mix and you have a mask, actually, stiff and without emotion.
janeyanna 6 months ago
@janeyanna If it looks like a mask, then it is because the person applied it wrong. Why not conceal things like discoloration, dark eye circles, acne and scars of any kind? They aren't exactly attractive. They bring unwanted and annoying attention and sometimes look like you don't take care of yourself. Also, botox? The hell? People can still move their faces with makeup on and show emotion. Unlike an outright mask, you can still look like yourself.
yoshidragon2 6 months ago
"They aren't exactly attractive."
It's just us homo sapiens who have to hide their faces in order to be called 'beautiful'.
janeyanna 6 months ago
@janeyanna Looking bad says negative things about one's character. People seeing swollen red bumps on your face filled with pus, crackling dry skin, & beyond etc shows them you don't even bother with yourself. No one cares if those things are a part of them, it looks unhealthy & makes people self conscious enough as it is. Again, if makeup makes you look like something you're not, then it is being applied wrong. Oh please on the animal bit. I see ugly cats & dogs on a regular basis. Irrelevant.~
yoshidragon2 6 months ago
@janeyanna charity! no one wants to look at an ugly face, it being kind to your fellow man and woman
