Hang Glider aborted tow

My cousin died doing this. His brother felt terrible cause he did the towing. The glider took a nosedive and he was inexperienced so it can be a danderous sport if you don't know what you're doing. Be safe!

Sorry to hear about your cousin, you are right it can be dangrous, mistakes will cost you dearly, but there is nothing quite like hang gliding to give you the thrill of flying at a reasonable cost.

cool i mostly fly aerotow its upto 3000 ft so all winching looks low release to me. thanks for then reply

At about 58 you can just see the chute on the tow line open after I prematurely released the tow, all other my tows were going to twice that height before the tow vehicle got to the end of the runway. Maybe "prematurely released tow" might have been a better title!
