It's such a joke! I think another thing is, is that shes a star that made herself bigger than everyone else without the grammys, and the grammys have alot of pride, and feel that they are the ones that make you legendery & tht. Britney on the other hand, is the biggest pop legend along with Madonna in the indsutry, without any award ceremonies help. I think tbh... she looks down on them and dosn't show any interest, & dosn't give them a seconds thought. That also must piss them off.

Plus I think its also a matter of needing them. She has never needed to follow the rules of the grammys to win a certain award. She has never needed anything. I mean look at her, she does nothing & she becomes the no1 followed person on earth on twitter! She does no promotion, yet she sells like CRAZY! 3 debuted at no1 within hours of its release keeping gaga off no1 with Bad Ro with no promotion or video. She has become unstoppable. She's ledge, and dosn't need the grammys to tell her that.

The Grammy's don't need her & Britney does not need them. She sold well over 50 million records in her 1st 4 years of being an artist. She's sold over 100 million as of now, with only one grammy. She won over 200 awards in a single year during 2009. She also was confirmed the biggest selling female artist of the entire decade! Also the youngest to have ever had a star on the wof.

Britney is living proof that she does not need to be told shes successful or a pop icon by an award ceremony.
