First u had the amazing beatles, then came the smiths who opened the door to britpop. oasis was (and is) an absolute great band and even now, when there's a new wave of british bands such as the arctic monkeys and franz ferdinand, they still know how to rock 'n roll everybody off their feet. absolute class innit?
