Out of all the experienced bellydance routines I've seen on here, this one still remains one of my favorites. It's just so entertaining to watch. It's so light and playful and neither the dance nor the dancer take themselves too seriously, which is great. I just adore this routine and its one of the videos I find inspire me to keep learning and practicing because it reminds me of how fun it is (even when I get frustrated with trying to get a move down).

I get so frustrated when people comment on drum solos and say they "aren't sensual enough"....drum solos are meant to showcase a dancer's technique and aren't intended to be sensual!! I think it's quite obvious this dancer was trying to be playful and upbeat, not sensual!!!!

@josieocal016 lol, my gf is a muslim, as am i, and she recently told me that she is going to be taking belly dancing classes. i wonder if she would like this, lol. she it might have something to say about me liking this video, lol. but anyway, yeah, i completely agree with you, josie, i dont think she meant it to be anything other than playful which is fine with me; it cant always be one style or it will lose its flavor, if you know what i mean.

Isn"t true a drum solo is a piece of music ? so then isn:t it true u dance on that piece of music because it touched your heart and you feel it and express it back to the audience? so therefore aren"you showing or giving your feelings through ure dance ?but then again who gives a rat's ass about dancing as long as we look pretty,we have choreographies and technik!?
