My favorite skater is Evan Lysacek, but I also love Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto, Alissa Czisny and Ryan Bradley :) (and Sasha Cohen, but she's not in the video)

I absolutely love watching figure skating. It's my favorite event to watch. I can only imagine how much practice it takes to do this sport.

I am a really good skater, but with no coach. So one time i was skating, and a pro skater skates up to me and says, "Do u take lessons?" And I was like, "No." And she was like, "Really?!" Then I said, "Do u think I'm good enough to take lessons?" And then she said, "Yeah definateley!" The pro skater was about 17, and i could tell she really liked me! =D It was by far the best day of my young 10 year old life!!!

If Caroline skates clean and doesn't win the title, then there is something absolutely wrong with skating. The only reason for her not being on top of the podium is for Flatt, Nagasu or Wagner to be there. I will not stand it if Meissner or Hughes is on top. good luck everybody!

It will certainly be a close race. Of course I am 100% behind "BelGosto." Now that the GP is over I believe they will evaluate any noted weakness(s) in their LP and make a solid run for the gold in March. Right now I am expecting an exciting U.S. Nationals in January. There should be surprises in all four disciplines!

Very masterfully done. This very well could be used as a commercial for the skating.

I personally am very excited about this upcoming year... there are so many skaters that I simply, and can't wait to see again. Lysacek, Davis/White, Bradley, Belbin/Agosto, Hughes... This year is going to be incredible. The only thing that would make my rapture complete would be that Plushenko come back for Russia. That man is incredible.

I'm no fan of Plushenko, but one thing is for certain...there are currently no male skaters from Russia ready to pick up where he left off. None of the other disciplines have strong contenders for the world crown either.

Finally I will say that I believe we are one year away from a real battle for the ice dance gold. We finally have some real depth below the top two positions. Any predictions outside of Belbin and Agosto for the 2010 team are certainly premature at this point. It's going to be exciting!

As for the pairs...my favorite is Nam and Leftheris. They have the most solid side-by-side triples. A little more speed and variation in their lifts should make them contenders for the crown. I've also got my eye on McLaughlin and Brubaker. Their split-twist rivals the Chinese. Finally I'm getting excited about our pairs program again.

I won't begin to predict the Ladies outcome this year. The field is deep with up and comers and recently established contenders. Alissa C. maintain your confidence. You are a complete package.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and nationals. Outside of ice dancing, it will be difficult to predict who will win the other disciplines. Our pairs program is finally showing some promise. Lysacek raised the bar for the men's program.  Goebel raised it technically years ago, but we all know he was limited in his artistic flare. Go for the quad Johnny. Make it interesting this year.

But Champions on Ice is during the off-season. Stars on Ice begins later this fall and runs through February or March.
