I'm not smart as the world's top scientists, or NASA, regarding global warming as fact. I do have common sense to know the North/South Poles are melting for some reason. Therefore, if I didn't "believe" in global warming, I'd have to ask myself why. Only the reason for the warming is still up for debate. It is, that is why we need to spread the facts that we arent doing it and that the models are corrupt. The sun has cycles that effect the earth. The earth has cycles that effect the climate. This depends on the approach. Using a cap and trade model would likely lead to a money grab. The problem is pollution in any form. The solution is to reduce emissions not to make money. Since we live in a capitalist world there are people who do not want to lose out in the change, so they are driven by greed. In a wider social context those individuals may lose out ,and the wealth would be redistributed. There is a difference between what should be done for the greater good, and that of greed.
