If u have a full face of make up on u meant to use make up remover to get it off and then u wet ur face put ur facewash product onto the Clarisonic after u wet it and then u gently brush it over ur face not scrub it like crazy like she did. Her face was all pink from the her scrubbing the shit out of it...

@planetlexicon Do you mean the Clearasil perfecta wash? The perfecta wash is just a dispenser that gives u a pre dosed pump of face wash. The clarisonic has sonic technology that is the same technology used to clean surgical instruments. The sonic technology (shaking/not vibrating) has the ability to dislodge impactions from the pores (impactions would become a blackhead and then possibly a pimple or cyst) after about 2 months of use there is usually a decrease by 50% of the impactions.
@planetlexicon The crazy thing is that the machine was invented for anti-aging. So, along with the benefit of cleaner pores you'll stay looking youthful as well. Hope this helps! @a62010 i personally make sure to use a clean towel and dry it (the handle and even the brush head a little) after the brush head is just damp but NOT soaking wet, then I put the cap back on. Just makes sure that it is not soaking wet because it might cause mildew or grime! Hope this helped! (:

I see that you have reviewed both the clarisonic and the Nu Brilliance, Which do you suggest, the clarisonic or the Nu Brilliance- as I have purple-ish acne scars.
1) Turn off the tap water when you're not using it.
2) There's no need to rub the brush around your face like that. The tool does most of the work for you. It's also way to harsh to be so aggressive with it, especially around your eyes.
3) The Clarisonic is timed for different sections of your face.
some key notes you missed: 1 it will time itself exactly at 2 minutes. The inital beeps signifies you start at your forehead and then after 30 seconds you move to your nose/chin area, 30 seconds cheek, etc. It will beep each 30 seconds so you know when to move to the next area.
What's the difference between the Mia and the regular one? I know the other one has two settings but does the mia have the faster setting out the two?

My work is so dirty and if I scratched my head, there would be a thick black gunk under my nails. I've used mine once and it's already a life saver.
Great you're using it, however it's supposed to be 20 sec forehead, 20 sec nose and chin and 10 sec each cheek. It comes programmed like that.
