I'm living in Europe, I've watched a lot of different european versions and this IS The BEST Version of the GAME. The british and french ones are like scientologists on the verge of commiting suicide....At least here it's FUN and ENTERTAINING and I love how americans are POSITIVE and keep seeing the bright side of things.

Howie Mandel is easily the best announcer of ANY DOND to ME. This is pure entertainement.

@az49u The boxes build on the suspense of the show as they have to remove the tabs then slowly lift the lid.

Also because they all get to know each other throughout the series you can see the friendships between the contestants that gives the show that more passion than you get in the USA version of "Lets just throw money at them"

@uksecco Totally agree. I love our (the UK) version. (I assume thats the one you're talking about from your description of it!)

It is much more of a family show, and as you said I love the friendships built between the contestants and how they have the 'pilgrims' in the audience. And Noel Edmonds is just a fantastic host!

I really hate the US take on this, it turns it into another run-of-the-mill cheesy game show. Ripped the heart right out of it.

By the way I'm from the UK and this is the 1st time Iv seen the American version, this is so much better than the UK's version.
