  • lol this is why i own a droid.....apple is shit period

  • Oh COMON, they really think jailbreakers and unlockers wouldn't develop something that spoofs the info -.-

  • sorry i want order it from US

  • hello dude i am from Bahrain and i want to order iPhone 4 and they say don't order because u can't unlock it just the company can unlock it in US so i can order it and unlock it with jail break or ultra snOw ?

  • New unlock spotted at unlockiphone4-now com

  • up yours too.... lol!

  • i know this is a old video but aint we making them money because every bodybuys a iphone or ipod to jailbreak & unlock so apple is being stupid on there part!!!

  • All you need to Unlock iPhone 4, 3Gs, 3G iOS 4.1 and 4.2.1 For worldwide use bestunlockiphone com

  • well... what if you unlocked your iPhone and was using it on another network? They can't cancel your t-mobile signal.

  • This never happened to me but now I'm on t mobile

  • Will it affect, if you got an Jailbroken iPhone 4 ?

  • First we have to get said message in order to work around this. Since jailbreaking is legal now, can anyone confirm the fact that apple knows if your jailbroken or not and refuses to offer help over the helpline (as if they really help in the first place)? If they are phishing around in our phones, kiss your warranty goodbye. Ive jailbroken and restored twice (found a bug), and I think that when you restore it sends a report back to apple. ehh...sketchy business.

  • hey, try using simpleiphoneunlock. net

    works great.. took about 5mins

    definitely recommended!

  • Did you read about this yet? Congress has declared that jailbreaking programs for the iPhone is now completely legal!

Get it right now! It is available at on this site - SoftJailBreak. com

  • What if we dont use att?

  • haha what a lie how can at&t send a message to a phone on tmobile

  • i found a way to unlock my iphone 3g 4.0 , i used easyunlockiphone net

  • android time indeed!!!

  • @conjonoh25 lol im all droid man tablet my phone my wifes phone ect...lol shit even the new psp is on the android os so whats apple gunna make to compete with that????

  • ugh im lucky i bought my iphone for $600 at the apple store now i just need to unlock it and for mai t-mobile sim >:D

  • WHAT IF YOU BUY AN IPHONE 4 FROM THE US BUT THEN LEAVE THE COUNTRY TO SAY SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE THE CARIBBEAN ....cus im going to the us on vacation and i dont think that at&t is going to send a long distance text message just to tell me stuff ever so often

  • No problem here! The work-around to this silly Apple attempt to control the world is to spawn a task to send a response message to the server with the original information of the iPhone before it was hacked (jail break/unlock). The responding message might need to be modified each time to update real-time information such as date/time and GPS location.

  • there's a new jailbreak for iphone 4 and any ipod touch running ios4 look! /watch?v=8G_7FPMcLpI

  • In the UK (United Kingdom) the iPhone 4 comes unlocked on any GSM Carriar, so when you order your iPhone 4 from the apple online store they don't give you a Micro-Sim. Therefore you have to go to a carriar store which provide a Miro-Sim and iPone 4 Plans. So I don't think its going to harm people in the UK, including me.

  • This is just a rumor . Back lash and court settlement fees is a lot bigger loss apple will have to face. Then any loss from any jb . Plus Canada is getting iphone4 with ios4 unlocked. So this is definitely a rumor

  • at&t can not send text updates to tmobile sim cards so u may be find

  • @marquette123456 att owns tmobiles network

  • Comment removed

  • hi im from australia i had bought a iphone 4 from overseas in the usa via ebay the iphone 4 was not locked to a contract from at&t and had recieved it today via courier can i use it with any network in australia or is is still locked to at&t..?

  • IS this only on AT&T? I live in England and my iphone is originally on O2 but i want to unlock it. Is it still the same warranty?

  • Apple's warranty sucks anyways. Just get a thirdparty insurance plan like squaretrade or safeware, and jailbreak away.

  • is this just for unlocking it or for jailbreaking it as well?

  • Damn, it's like you and APPLE/ AT&T one the iPhone as a comprised single entity. If that's the case why don't they pay some of fucking bill?

  • when u make the jailberak and unlock the iphone?

  • Hahah how are they going to send these updates through the T-Mobile network?

  • If that's the way Apple and AT&T want to roll then Android for iPhone looks better and better.

  • so if the iphone was previously used on att but now its no longer in service (passed off). now its being used on tmobile; will it be held to the same standers? yes it is on 4.0

  • @sid3us T-mobile is happy to have your service. They have no incentive to snitch you out to Apple.

  • I have gotten response from multiple people that this is only a rumor. but we'll see what happens.

  • if apple really intends to do this, they should have done it since when the original iphone was hacked. just in case this happened, i wish apple could be a little lighter on iphone users. i mean they should allow us to download files such as those in cydia (like themes) whether paid or not, just to give some color to our damned iphones.

  • what if i buy a iphone at full price $600 from the apple store and unlock it without putting at&t sim in it at all

  • @mayrooo1 I think that would work fine.

  • @ipodtouchhelper1 whew i was gonna jailbreak it. can u make a tutorial for unlocking it?

  • so as long as i dont update to ios4 i'll be fine with an unlocked iphone 3g?

  • no matter what it will still be hacked and those forced updates will be bypassed. hackers are smarter i think.

  • @darkseed06 Yeah I'm sure it will eventually be bypassed, I'm just concerned with how long that might take.

  • And what if you buy a unlocked phone from for example Germany? Will you get 'blocked' too???

  • @thehostler If it isn't originally activated through AT&T and you purchase the phone unlocked through an Apple approved carrier, I doubt you will have any issues.

  • What if your with a diffrent company than ATT?

  • @TheXsramX I'm not quite sure how that would work, but I think that might get around it because the messages I'm sure will be going through AT&T's network. The problem would be finding an unlocked phone, originally from AT&T, so prices on unlocked phones will probably go up.

  • What about for ipod touch?

  • @XboxGameplay360 I don't think they can really do anything about an iPod Touch, so don't worry about it.

  • Guess I am gonna have to buy me an Officially UNLOCKED iPhone :-( Now who wants to buy my white iPhone 3gs 16GB 3.1.3 firmware ,Jailbroken(spirit) and Unlocked (ultrasn0w) Oh wait... I think I am safe, I am not on ios 4 yet and I didn't update my iTunes to 9.2

  • @fm300z32 Yeah you're still safe, I would just wait to upgrade until we find out if this story is confirmed or not.

  • Haha, me and my substitute teacher were talking about this months before the iPhone 4 was announced/leaked. We said that since apple is getting smart, if you try to unlock, the sim would fry. but we were close XD

  • @XvEmoKittyvX Yeah that is pretty darn close.

  • but what if you have a preunlocked iphone

  • @mayrooo1 If it's pre-unlocked and not running on AT&T you should be fine because the messages will go through AT&T's servers.

  • does the same thing go for the 3g?

  • @itsme729 Yes if it is on iOS4.

  • This is just a rumor, its not real.

you cant believe anything that Quickpwn.com post, because its a rumor blog.

    this is not true.

  • @ItzMeScottG It's possible it's not, but stories are also emerging from Gizmodo concerning the same thing, and I believe what they say.

  • @ipodtouchhelper1 You also got to remember that you cant always believe everything you read on Gizmodo, as Gizmodo is partly a Rummer site.

  • wow what the fuck apple.. i have at&t but still thats gay..

  • @riku10532 Yeah.

  • what about ipod touches on the 4.0 ios 4 firmware

  • @mshadey45 They should be unaffected.

  • But what if you unlock your iphone and you aren't using AT&T do you think they can still send and receive information from and to your iphone?

  • at least the jailbreak the risks are the same, and i still plan on jailbreaking when i get mines. For one thing teathering they trying to make you pat an extra 20 dollers for it , ha.

  • @XDBoyProductions Yeah I'm going to jailbreak but not bother unlocking.

  • its prob gonna be pushed more on the iphone 4 they really dont want that one jailed and unlocked

  • @Robzbos Yeah i think so too.

  • mines on IOS4 and Unlocked and jailbroken im on my sixth day now iw ththis unlock no provblems yet but ill wait and see what happens keeps you updated

  • @Robzbos Alright, thanks.
