Your form is poor. Your back is arched, you don't sit down enough into the lift, your getting massive internal rotation of the glenohumeral joint, all in all your going to do your self some serious damage is you carry on like that.
While I appreciate your concern, form is relative. I purposely have my back arched as well as staying more stiff legged as this is the most efficient form for when I pull regular deadlifts as well as providing excellent carry over to atlas stone lifting. I felt no stress on my shoulders but I will keep that in mind in the future.
@kureigu85 I've noticed that most lifters who train for strongman do this exercise with a rounded back, just like you. I understand that with the atlas stone the shape of the object more or less forces you to lift with a rounded back, and so your explanation makes perfect sense. I'm curious, though, are there particular tricks to lifting safely with a rounded back?
Hmm, not sure if there are any tricks other than practice. With an atlas stone or similar object, you can brace your abs against the object and that seems to provide some stability that lessens the strain.
That's what I call the Lat Deadlift, one of the best exercise you can do for your lats (better than BORs in my opinion)

i do this with my arms closer together, alot closer together. Do u find it easier with ur arms wide apart or closer?

@20musicfreak20
It's easier with a closer grip as it's a higher starting position and the pulling distance is shorter.

They can, it's similar to pulling from a deficit. I did them mainly to help with atlas stone lifting.
