Iso as in it is the isomer of propanol, the pro in propanol means that there are 3 carbon atoms in it, the ol in propanol means that there is an alcohol group(OH) attached to one on the carbon atoms. The chemical formula for glucose is C6H12O6, the title clearly says isopropanol btw, you must be the high one, sir. :)
