Only "problem" was the 5 gear transmission, 'cause it had a too long 2nd gear. It's not a problem of the engine, and now has a 6 gear transmission. The Boxer Diesel is excellent!
If you have ever, ever, EVER watched TopGear you'll know Clarkson dislikes every single diesel engine on the face of Earth. In 99 out of 100 times he doesn't even mention them anywhere. Not in the TopGear TV show, not in the magazine nor the articles he writes for the papers.
He spent nearly 30 seconds making comments on this one so I bet you $50 he likes it but he won't admit it.

Im so fucking tired of the USA's policy on Diesel Engines. Europeans have hundreds of choices for Diesel powered vehicles. To be honest, the US is failing at so many issues atm, that I am ashamed of being an American.
