One of Dave's best tunes, Ruff Beats is his anthem, being a fellow Manc I checked him out on the Soulnation pirate in the early 90s & rediscovered him via his tapes of the finest underground UK & US Hip Hop from 97 - 2003, I would have been lost during this time thinking Rap is nothing but commercial bullshit if not for Dave, shame other so called Hip Hop djs pretty much ignored his records & any other dope indie rap in favour of the jiggy fake ass wannabe gangsta shit
