this performance was really great. Ive never heard of any of the people performing but i arrived here through a smooth jazz playlist and this is perfection
@ThePirocadoida Man is easy to understand, I do! Jazz wouldn't be the same without bossa nova and vice versa! Is not competition is addition. You can see elements of american jazz in there and that's what makes it so special, is the perfect combination! Bossa nova gave the jazz what was missing, complexity with melody, organizing the mess that sometimes would come out of it!
Hi @samjardim, I love music both jazz and bossanova! I just think they're two different styles that share things in common! but it is just my opinion .....
@clbobman He is a fantastic drummer. The first I saw or heard of him was at the Eliane Elias show in Toronto on July 4, 2009. I knew immediately that he was a special drummer.
And nice shot! And exceptional musicians! Incredible that this kind of spontaneous, adventurous kind of toying around is even possible in tandem. Thanks for uploading!

Why do people say Brazilian jazz? we do not say American bossanova! Jazz is jazz and bossanova bossanova is! no offense!
Por que as pessoas dizem jazz brasileiro? nós não dizemos bossanova americana! jazz é jazz e bossanova é bossanova! sem intensão de ofender!
