  • You're borderline BB King and Clapton soulful Dady O! Really enjoying yourself too, most important

  • Nice one

  • how many years did it take to have that kind of fretboard knowledge? that was funky fantastic!

  • Impressive!

  • all the way from greece...have seen all your vids and there is nothing for me to say that you already don't know..blues with true feeling!!

  • Very good. I eBay´d one of these GR-33 recently, (too bad I don´t have a Taylor ... yet). Seeing this made me want to go play something. Nicely applied synth effects. Congratulations from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • Great playing I bought mine in 2000 hope to soon apply some videos on YouTube I have an album with "The Groove Town Boys" & it has a lot of the Gr33 Check it out

  • You are one talented young fellow. I really enjoy listening to you play, makes no differance what you are playing. keep up the good work.

  • I had one of the first Roland guitar synth setups (15yrs ago+) and this seems to track pretty well all over - even low down - is that the case?

I just ordered a T5 Koa (and I have a GNX4 which I love btw) how did themidi pickup mount? Do you have to glue/drill or whatever?

Also, what string gauge are you using?

And. does the GNX4 do a decent (K4?) eq job for the T5 accoustic tone?

    (Sorry about all the questions!)

    Good playing btw

    Patrick

  • The tracking is pretty decent. The GK2A mounted with a double sided adhesive strip, so no glue or screws needed. I have 12's on the T5. The GNX4 doesn't really handle the acoustic tone too well, or at least I haven't found a patch to make it sound good. Thanks!

  • Have you got the MFX super series patch set for the GNX4?

  • I don't. I've never heard of it.

  • Get a boss rc50 instead.

  • I'm about to buy the GR33 - was wondering if there's a built in loop machine in it...

  • Unfortunately, there is not. That would be awesome though!

  • @aurchis13 try GR-55 now for looping

  • Thanks, you with all your videos are one of the players that always makes me want to play and learn more!

Got to try this improvisation thing next...

  • love that :)

  • Comment removed

  • any chance you could do a quick tab of that base line...

  • Improvisation is Great ! but Why you don't use Mediator ?

We would believe hear a piano instead of a guitar =D

  • AWESOME! I have a GR-33 and love it! But your guitar seems to track much better. I also have a Taylor, but I just can't bring myself to mount the GK pickup to this beautiful acoustic instrument,

Also, your set-up looks like mine...wires everywhere!

  • HI sweet playing, which model T5 are you useing, Koa, Maple,Spruce?

  • nice job

    1st hand on impro?

  • Hi. Love your style.... does the gr33 ave a looper in it?? Oh a toylor plays..... well like a taylor... I got a t-5 the koa wood one... I never played anything like it.... just try one at a shop... you become a believer... Oh back to the question... I got a godin acs slim that plugs in to the 13 pin... does it come with the pick up for the taylor??? if so I can use the set up on both... that woud be super kewl...

  • The looper on this is in the GNX4, the GR33 does not have a looper. I am using the GK2A pickup on the Taylor. I have a Godin multiac nylon with the built in 13 pin - it tracks a lot better than the GK, but then again, you can't bend those nylon strings as well!

  • i agree with 1245 all the way.....good stuff!

  • Does that guitar play like an electric, or is more like an acoustic (as far as the feel of it and ease of play)?

  • I think you could set it up either way and use all kinds of strings and all that.

  • excellent performance, superior control and rythem. good job

  • This is so ridiculously awesome.

    Need.. more... sweet potatoes.

  • Love your style.

  • all in a great pack from this guitar playing genious. tasteful playing, a good groove, a tasteful bass line, then some tasteful soloing. And tremendous control of the Roland gr 33. basic, tasteful, beautiful, soulful playing. You just inspired me to turn on my gr 33 and come up with some grooves. only i dont have the beautiful tone of the taylor guitar, i use an american fender strat but i get pretty good results. anyways, thanks for this post, it just made my night. cheers.

  • Thanks for the great comments!

  • The married man's music room - I love mine, too! Sounds great. Keep spreading the joy!

  • you have such an incredibly unique style that I have never heard before and I am addicted to it.

  • Thanks! It has its roots in the Freddie King/Albert King styles, but it pretty much just comes from playing from the heart! Appreciate the comments!

  • I offered you my soul some months ago in return for your skills... still not interested?
