This is part of a full improvised scene that appears in some of the extras on "I'm Alan Partridge" Series One DVD. Alan calls up Lynne and makes her come to the Linton Travel Tavern because he's bored.

I think they must have filmed a lot of the scenes as improv and then cut them down to fit in the show.

I could watch this for hours, "Oh My GOD you're low on windscreen washer fluid!".
