  • How much does one of these little guys run

  • Nice little gun. It would be a great survival rifle. It looks extremely well made also.Thanks.

  • Where is this that you're allowed to use 22lr for bird hunting, most spots don't allow this because of how unsafe it can be firing long rang rounds at birds.

  • Every rifle can break down with a screwdriver.

I'd sooner buy a Crickett for $99, break it down into 2 parts, have my hiking buddy pack the stock while I pack the barreled action, we'd only be lugging 1 pound each LOL

These skeletal rifles are ugly in my opinion, and because they are not massed produced they cost like $400+, relatively high priced in relation to the firepower.

  • how much did this cost ?

  • what a beauty!

  • Looks good, I doubt a "take-down" like this would be legal over here though. Pitty!

    Regards.

  • needs to be in .17

  • I'd rather have a m6 scout.

  • Looks like an ideal survival rifle to carry in a private aircraft.

  • Not bad, hard to get, high cost are not good. The older Garcia Broncos in single and O/U are nice as well but like finding hens teeth to get one plus they are usually bid very high. The M6 has been valued out of range for most people. I do like making the lil Chpmonk single shots into a nice folding Pak Rifle. A few thoughts here, 1. I am not sure that OPEN bolt is legal. 2. I do not see any advantage Vs. cost, might as well use a decent H&R pistol.

  • This thing is so tiny and light yet so useful that its scary lol

  • nice

  • nice vid

  • Someone below talks of lightweight blah blah ... THIS RIFLE Weights 16 oz!!!!!! That's insane!!! And a pistol can not even come close to the same accuracy of a longer barrel. This is a tool for a certain person and is amazing at it ultra light function.

  • @Beachcrib Barrel length does not have that much to do with accuracy

  • @TGLymantaiste Longer muzzle does come into play with iron sights. The probable area where the round will land is a much smaller area if you can keep the front sight of a longer weapon in alignment with rear sight. Also deviations in sighting with shorter steel sight sets will have a greater impact on accuracy the shorter the distance between rear and front. Stability is important too, and arms are less stable than shoulders.

  • @MrHobomatic That is not the accuracy of the weapon. That is the shooters ability to fire the weapon accurately. Yes a longer sight radius makes a weapon easier to sight BUT given the intention of this weapon which is packing and the limitations of the round for the purpose, which I take to be hunting small game this limits the range to 100 yards or less. There is no advantage in using this over say a Ruger or a browning buckmark both of which are more than capable of that mission

  • is that legal?

  • You made one mistake in an otherwise good video. A Blue sage Grouse is NOT the best tasting bird, that title belongs to the Ruffed Grouse! :)

  • Give me my 22 pistol and a shooting stick to steady it on.Not downing this but i dont see it as an improvement on what i already use

  • the msrp is $425.00 but has anyone ever got a 'real' quote from a dealer..? ive never seen one, so i have no idea on the quality or the company.. im all about light weight, but no trigger guard is a red flag espically for someone in deep country where terrain may be difficult thus more likely the chance to fall.., or passing through deep brush might set off the trigger etc, etc.. all in all i would pay $250-300$ tops for this gun.. all depends on the quality....?

  • @GeorgeNada1 Everything is made from carbon fiber or CNC machined lightweight allows, so that is why it is $425. I'm actually surprised it is so cheap. As far as the trigger guard goes, that is a non issue since you shouldn't cock the striker until you're ready to fire. It's not meant to be kept in the cocked position. Think of it like a single action revolver.

  • THE SUPER!!! THE SUPER!!! THE SUPER!!! YOU THE BEST!!! THE HANDSOME MAN!!! I IN DELIGHT!!! MY EYES CRY FROM ADMIRATION!!! NOW IT WILL BE EASIER TO ME TO SUCK BLOOD OF THE ENEMIES!!!

  • @RUSLANdoneck Sir, you make no sense.

  • @YoungGun243 My translator of English. Translates but badly translates sense. Therefore it is heavy to transfer my thoughts to English. I meant a detail of your weapon which немог long to create. Excuse што has distracted you from affairs having forced to solve my text. нехотел to offend in any way. Yours faithfully the world to your house. Руслан.

  • @RUSLANdoneck I appreciate your reply, it was slightly difficult to read but I understand. I apologize.

  • somin tells me this gun is about as useful as a bull with tits......

  • Whats the name of this rifle? Where can it be bought , and for how much?

  • i need to know where to get one

  • what brand bullet?

  • This is a nice rendition of a very old concept. The remarkable vision you mentioned started several decades ago :-)

If this rifle interests you , check out the Garcia Bronco .22/.410 and .22 or similar light rifles made 40 or 50 years back, like the 22 backpack rifle imported by Firearms International--FIE and the Bauer Rabbit light rifle.mFor older guns check out the old Hamilton .22's.

    Cool video and happy backpacking

  • im looking for a 22/410 over under like the m6 scout

  • l like it but i dont like the open bolt design

  • how much is it and where do you get it?

  • i want it

  • nice .22, I just started hunting grouse last fall with a Crosman 66 power master .177 pellet rifle using hollow point hunting pellets. I got 2/2 clean head shots within 20 meters, one about 10 feet off the ground in a tree and one about 25 feet off the ground in a tree. I wasn't using any scopes and although I have a good shot, think i got lucky with the higher shot so i'm not going to take any more chances and get a .22 for the next season

  • The first round you place in the gun is a shotshell. Is that what you took the grouse with and did the rest of the target shooting with, or were they actually rounds with bullets?

  • lordcrobar: I recommend Impact Guns in Ogden, UT.

  • @bigskyry Thanx for the info.

  • Sweet rifle. Cabella's has a similar pak rifle. But the breakdown is more complex and is probably not as sturdy. I'ld buy this rifle if I could find it. Do you know how to obtain one?

  • @lordcrobar

whats it called. what caliber does it come in?

  • @theswimer419 Can't remember the name of the rifle. But it was a 22.

You can find it in their catalog or on their website.

  • were can i get 1

  • Skeleton construsion looks a little week

  • What advantages does this have over a .22 long barrelled pistol?

  • awesome

  • He fails to mention that the action and stock half turns into a fishing pole. I would link it, but YouTube says no.

  • @needcollegeloan packrifle(dot)com/pictures(dot)html

  • I NEED IT

  • $425.00, to rich fr me ... shame

  • subscribed, because that was awesome and totally inspirational!

    thanks :)

  • Where can I get one? I would love to have something like that!

  • that is indeed brilliant, wonder how much it is...nevertheless, i want one also!!!!! thanx for the headsup there HJ

  • FUXDBACKUPGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice grouse, i thought marlin and henry were the only ones making takedown 22 rifles. that pak rifle you have looks a lot smaller and lighter, I want one thanks for the info.

  • where can I get one?

  • wouldn't mind seeing a .410 conversion for this rifle
