maybe the best singer in rock history? i mean to be able to hit those crazy notes on such a big live stage. axl rose always had trouble hitting his best notes live. i mean just compare any live version of november rain to the studio version and hear the difference. but tom keifer just sings like it was i the damn studio! never heard anything like it!

Axl Rose isn't a singer... he butchers every G N' R song. Honestly, they'd be better as an instrumental band.

At least Tom can sing, with a very amazing voice, as well as do listenable screeching, unlike rose.

I think in '89 there wasn't any Cold War ;) That point was the end. I think this festival was dedicated for this event (or just they had the first chance to make a festival like this, with so many metal/hard rock/(glam metal)).

True story here. In 1997 I was a Recon Marine and on leave. I visited Philadelphia and went to a bar called Appolene's (I think thats how it's spelled) on South Street with a friend. I met Jeff Labar and told him how much I loved Cinderella. Jeff then asked me if I had some cocaine. I was shocked. I realized he assumed I had drugs because I'm Black. I still love the band. I have done done drugs and I am a little freaked out by Jeff Labar. He looked crazy.

what i never knew is there was two shows two days.. thought I read they split it two day . but looks like there were two shows and they pieced the video togther for best shots . I thought I was watching live in 89 and if i remember correctly it was pay per view . then i think later free on mtv?? not sure but i know i watched it. so we are watching vid from two showed i figured out. one they play evening one is earlier in the day and different clothes in much of the videos.
