The straw that got the credit was simply the last one to decide to "join the fun" of the other pieces already piled onto the apparently inexhaustible beast. Life does not give us the privilege of knowing how many straws will be necessary to break
the global elite's back. It does give us the privilege, however, to decide to be a "straw" or not.
Ron Paul won the last Fox News debate by an overwhelming majority. He made haste of ALL the lame neo-cons that haven't a clue of what our Constitution stands for. Rudy (I never served) Julianni needs to check himself before he tries to disgrace someone that actually served in this countries military.
`We can't be divided. We have to be one nation, under God. That means if we make a mistake, we make it as a single country: the United States of America, not the divided states of America,' Huckabee
Romney's voters are back on the bus by the time his results are announced. In this and other videos, cheers for Ron Paul equal those for Huckabee and Brownback. Cheers for Tancredo are barely audible even though he supposedly received more votes than Paul. Doesn't pass the smell test. I think they gave Tancredo many of Paul's votes so Paul would not take third or even second place. Remember, the Iowa straw poll is like professional wrestling; it's not a real, legally regulated, vote!
Oh my god. Give me a break. The vote was not rigged. Ron Paul did better than anyone ever expected. Why can't you just live with that.. and use it to add support to your cause instead of trying to belittle everyone else?
This shows Ron Paul has real potential in this race. He only visited Iowa three times and spent very little money, and only ran ads a week before the poll. It's pretty amazing that he got over 9%. He beat Tommy Thompson who spent way more and visited every county in the state. If Paul can do this well without hardly spending anything imagine what he can do if he does spend. He's got a load of cash for when he needs it.
Stop your dramatically incorrect reflections. I counted approx 50 supporters for Huckabee and Brownback each. 60-70 for Ron Paul. Each had other supporters scattered around.
The number present had very little to do with actual vote counts, though, since a lot of supporters came in from other states.
When I saw this crowd on the cable networks, I thought Ron Paul was about to win big, since his supporters were so numerous. Then I realized a lot of them were out-of-staters with nothing better to do but come to the Straw Poll and not vote.
One of the reasons it sounds like Ron Paul got the biggest applause is because the person recording is standing in the midst of his supporters. Of course it's going to sound louder, but please, don't let something like logic get in the way of you celebrating a 5th place loss.
WOW! I have never in my life seen any winner have audience like Mitt Romneys. What was that!?
Nodoby claps or anything! Did they leave? Why did they leave? Where were they?
Terrorfreeoil says:"The results were announced about two hours after polls were closed. Campaign volunteers were the only ones present."
That means that the real volunteers are so small in numbers. The other "volunteers" are paid by the campaign, and they really don't care if he wins or not, they just need the paycheck.
It took them 2 hours to announce the results.Must have had a dumb mathematician.Problems with the voting machine?hmm.Ron Paul for HONESTY and FREEDOM 2008.
That's right! Blame the neocon Zionist voting machines!
One of the reasons a lot more people (myself included) don't support Ron Paul despite 95% agreement on the issues is because you internet Ron Paulites are scary folk, indeed.
You know what I found interesting with this video was that there were loud cheers for Huckabee and Brownback and virtually nobody was cheering for Mitt. Hmmm.... Where were all his paid volunteers? I guess their shifts must have ended before the announcement was made.
Why would C-Span and Fox care who finishes in 5th or worse? It's fifth! and without McCain, Thompson, and Rudy! Basically RP took the hammer yesterday.
It is understood how the process works. I was refering to All of the debates. Knowing that there are allot of LDS in Iowa Mitt would no doubt get the lead. The surprise was the top 5. Specifically RP should have been in the top 3. IMHO.
I have to say that the official count seemed way off based on what was witnessed in spirit and enthusiasm. Either Money talks or people are still misinformed, asleep or both. Have any of these people watched or heard the Debates?
Ron Paul supporters get one thing straight, this is a fight and this is the first round. Getting knocked down is big, but not getting back up would be failure. Ron Paul is not a loser. So, get your collective ass up off the mat and keep fighting. I'll be damned before I quit Ron Paul. Spread the word to anyone who will listen and can vote. Do it, do it now.
Even the blonde with her cheap smear speach. We are gainning speed and they know it. I think Rons count was most likely higher and they fixed that also. I also think that all the voters were paid to vote. I think what happened in IOWA is a very good sign that we are not going away.
You can believe what you want but nobody is all that concerned with Ron Paul becoming formidable. Especially not enough to rig a non binding straw poll.
Not gona happen.Romney knows how to manage money and governmant. He took the olympics which was largely in debt and turned it around to make an extremely lage profit. If anyone can keep you out of the poor house it is Romney!
That's right, Ron Paul didn't win, it MUST have been rigged! It's a big Masonic/Illuminati/Bildeburger conspiracy to crush the little guy and deny the inevitable RON PAUL REVOLUTION 2008 WOOT WOOT! FIGHT THE SYSTEMIO#RWEIORIEJFLDS!
(the real question is, is this distingiushable from the other garbage these people are posting?)
What exactly is it about Ron Paul's message that you don't like? Gov.Huckabee has some ideas about taxes that are likable, but I have never heard a candidate, other than Ron Paul, talk about the most important issue of our time, abolishing the Federal Reserve.
I didn't post this video so that Ron Paul supporters could use it as a forum to complain about only getting #5. Be happy with that position as it is a damn good one considering how the campaign will inevitably end for Dr. Paul.
I was expecting 1,2 or 3 but fifth isn't bad. "Top tier" is considered 1-4. Could have been rigged. That they wanted to extort the Ron Paul campaign for $100,000 for a vote recount shows how corrupt someone high up there is. If I lived in Iowa I would have driven from anywhere in the state to go vote for RP.
Come you guys. It's just IOWA. there is a long road to go. Think of Paul and his wife in the hospital. He has not giving in. why should we.Thease people will see the light soon enough and know they made a mistake. I think they were all paid off to make paul look bad and try to demoralize us.
The fact that you must have a thirty five dollar ticket to vote and that it is legal for candidates to buy these tickets, essentially buying a win, shows just how corrupt this whole facade truly is. Screw it I'm moving. I can't deal with the stupid majority any longer. It should not be hard to find a smarter country to live in considering the US ranks 53rd in literacy, and the MSM's influence on this election is proof that the literacy figures for the US are right on target.
This is not an election. This is a straw poll to measure support amongst, for the most part, GOP supporters and party members. This is also major fund raiser for the Iowa GOP which is why the ticket price is set. Allowing campaigns to purchase the tickets is the easiest and best way to get people to the event. Receiving a ticket from a campaign or another organization such as the NRA or the Fair Tax Org is not "buying votes." A person has 100% control over who they vote for.
Yeah but it's meaningful, look at the record of the ames winner. This is part of the election process they should change. If you think you can't buy a win by handing out tickets your nuts. If I buy ten thousand and you buy fifty, I'll smoke you, no matter what you or I stand for. Is the GOP that hard up for cash, that they feel it is necessary to charge in order to vote, or is it just another way to manipulate the system? I think we both know the answer to that.
I hear ya, we're surrounded by idiots. The fact that Dr Paul is not in the ninety percent + range is testament to the publics lack of understanding of just about everything that matters. Enjoy your American Idol, it will make for good conversation around the burn barrel. Idiots, Wake UP
Paul is #5 but look at the percentages. The polls were saying 2% for Paul. This poll showed 9.1%. So he's still progressing. Most people still do not know who he is.
