that was a bit shit from Rooney. What i would say though is that when he did stay standing after a player made contact and impeded him against liverpool at old trafford he got nothing for it. this time he sees the ball going away from him, he knows there's contact and goes to ground. not good, but in a game that doesn't reward you if you stay standing it's not surprising.
