I can only think of 2 ways for the story to end. Mengsk dies and the story will end with raynor being the leader of the terran and kerrigan will be the leader of the zerg. Or Mengsk and Kerrigan both die, and in the 2nd expansion protoss has to find a way to stop the zerg from rampaging now kerrigan is dead.

It's a pretty balanced game. Only when you get to the very, very, very top levels (I'm talking about people who dedicate their lives to this game and play 12 hours a day, literally) can you actually see the difference in races. As these kinds of games go, It's very balanced. Join the community dude, and if you think it's unbalanced then pick the "best" race and watch yourself lose.

There's one major thing I don't get about this game. Terran and Protoss are both tech-based (not speaking in terms of the game, what I'm saying is that both of their races thrive off of having good technology, whereas zerg isn't) yet Protoss has warp capabilities and whatnot, is incredibly advanced, whereas Terran still runs on fuel and has (by looks) much, much lower quality technology. I think is Starcraft were to be as realistic as possible, Terran would be destroyed by Protoss lol.
