Yup, between point dwell and timing, you can lock her in. Do you have points or electronic ignition? Vacuum advance? Beyond that, timing should do the trick!
Great video. Yesterday I was having the same issues and tried to adjust the cap and finally got it started, but it sounded muted and more like a lawnmower, definitely not how it usually sounds. Tried to drive it around the block, but there wasn't enough power to keep it moving when giving it gas, but managed to drive it to the mechanic around the corner and hopefully it's just the timing!
