  • Wicked shit man.

  • the drummer is amazing look at him smashin the drums in the back xP

  • i just think gerneraly amazing =D

  • vocalist is vest good looking musician.

  • great song and quality

    very good job man

  • i notice in all the youtube videos of them, the screw up a lot. there's a start something video where jamie and ian just totally fuck up, look at each other, then keep on going. in this video, there's some pitch problems as well. not saying there bad, they're amazing, it's just what i notice.

  • your not meaning that as a bad thing r u?

  • eh. good and bad.

  • ur right the pitch is a little wierd

  • by pitch problems, u mean vocaly? lots of singers like to change a song a bit and put a bit more emotion into the song, makes it more interesting =]

  • you're wrong. Jamie Oliver is the screamer/pianist.

  • wow they're good live even on youtube!

  • usualy when ppl record live shows the sound quality sux. but this is acutaly pretty good

  • awesome!! ,I like this song :DD

  • The sound quality is way better when you point the camera away

  • YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • jus to clear this up, chiplin didnt play at all on Liberation Transmission.

there were two drummers who played on it llan rubin who is in the video and josh freese who is a session drummer, so if llan didnt play its probs cos josh freese played on this track.

  • yeah- pretty sure josh freese was the one who recorded the album. and rubin toured.

missing mike chiplin a lot. as a drummer i was partial to him a lot more than these two. although josh freese is pretty sick too. just liked chiplin and felt he sounded better with the rest of the band.

  • man look how exciting it is, i have chillz down my spine lol. lost prophets rule

  • lost prophets rock

  • they rock :D

  • i like how at about 2:39 he swings the mic around

  • from what I'm getting, that's pretty much his thing.

  • my little brother is like 5 years old and he heard this song and he was all like "why are they screamin they shouldn't be mad they're famous" it was so funny and cute

  • great band, great song, and finaly a live vid where you can auctualy see and hear the band! 5/5

  • Fucking Love Lostprophts!!! always have done! there an amazing band. I saw them at portsmouth guild nearly a year ago and i was also on the front row bout 5 feet away frim Ian!!!! =) iv yet to go to a better gig!

  • wow. ian can fairly scream

  • FIRST ROW!!! amazin! i saw these live but was a few rows away

  • I don't get why everyone's bashing Ilan so much. Yeah, he's not Chiplin, but honestly if you're a fan of lostprophets you should be used to them changing their sound around a lot between albums. The change between FSOP and Start Something is a lot bigger than the change beteen Chiplin and Ilan, I think.

  • No he's not Chiplin. He runs circles around Chiplin.

  • He destroys him, literally, theres no comparision. Ilan that is.. is the one destroying..

  • snareoncoma.. you're right it's not the same solo he only changed a bit of it .. on album i think he used more his toms but still it's incredible how fast he's able to play it... i'm not as fast as the half of his speed with the roll 0o

  • hey i cant even hear the drum solo so well did he really do that incredible solo I hear on the album ????? I dont really think so

  • He didn't play that song on the album, but yeah, he does it live and he does it just fine. How many of you experts have ever seen Losprophets play live without Chiplin?

  • yes he did u fucking idiot

  • On First Row? You are one lucky guy..

  • Who gives a fuck,? though i believe you but he is definetely one of my fav drummers and he totally kicks ass totally as a drummer he would really kick my ass in competition though i know my shit pretty well who cares if he knows travis or not ? hes simply awesome and so is this band

  • Hey, I don't disagree. My first comments were about how Ilan runs circles around Chiplin. By the way if you google "Ilan Rubin" + "Travis Barker", you'll see that Ilan took a few lessons from Travis. When he did that, Ilan couldn't drive, so I drove him a couple times from San Diego to Corona. That's how Ilan became friends with Travis and that's how I met Travis. Believe what you want.

  • they can't sing...

  • Great video.

But it's shame that people managed to turn the list of comments into a pointless argument about Ilan and how he got there, and whether he's going to stay.

Arguing here won't change anything. So give it a rest, and enjoy the awesome performance :)

  • Lost Prophets Are The Shex =D

  • lol ur a funny retard

  • see people drumfans an arsehole xD

  • better an arsehole than a lying moron.

  • Drumfan youre an idiot. Youre here talking about drum technique and stuff trying to sound cool but everyone knows youre full of shit just talking on. And no one belives you know travis.

  • And you know all of this how? BTW, if you think talking drum technique makes someone cool, then I'm not sure what to think of that. As far as I'm concerned, it's boring. And, you can believe what you want.

  • You say you dont think that but you do, you think talking like that makes you sound talented, but youre just another kid with a keyboard. You dont know travis either.

  • I'm two years younger than you so I don't think that makes me a "kid". It really is simple and shouldn't be hard to understand. These guys have home lives and friends and I've been a friend of the Rubins for years. I hang out with all three brothers and have been lucky to meet a lot of people and bands, including Travis and the Prophets. I also happen to be a drummer of 10 years, so I'm not completely ignorant when it comes to knowing who is good and who isn't.

  • see after the yeahh bit at the start is he playin a crash at his left or his ride up high

  • fuk u drumfan chiplin wud of been proven better if he'd stayed with lostprophets i think hes in shape of my addiction now which sucks

  • No, fuck you mitchy. Chiplin couldn't keep a straight tempo if his life depended on it. But don't take my word for it. Ask the Prophets if you know them.

  • i just dont like ilan i tried out for them and he beat me i came 3rd! beaten by ilan and thomas rogers -_- besides there considerin throwin him out since he hasnt written a song -_- :) :(

  • Theyre not, they said they havent announced him as a proper member yet because they havent tried writing with him yet. But they currently are for their 4th album.

  • You are a fucking liar and a moron. They just spent 6 weeks at Ilan's house writing the next album. Yeah it really looks like they're going to kick him out. You fucking didn't try out for them either. After they left the UK they hired a studio dude to do pre-production. They asked Ilan to come up from San Diego after talking to the band "A". Your a fucking little delusionary liar. Grow up. How do I know this. Because I know them.

  • Good vid !

  • classic ian

  • ilan plays so weird...

  • Ilan hits hard and leads with both hands. Very few drummers in the world do that. It gives him freedom and speed. He is just as strong from the right side as he is from the left. But don't take my word for it. You'll read all about it in an upcoming "Drummer" issue.

  • travis barker was who they wanted to do drums but he didn't and josh freese did the drums on all songs but everybody's screaming!!! and for all these times son. it's in the liner notes.

  • mike chiplin better drummer k

  • yeh i prefered Mike Chiplin but Ilan is good... wow i didnt know that abou Travi barker though thats pretty cool thnks for info

  • Ilan and Travis are good friends. +44 asked Ilan to fill in recently after Travis had problems with his arm. Ilan's schedule didn't permit it though. This is fact. How do I know. Because I know both of them.

  • ilan rubin fuckin wel gd mate beta dan u

  • ilan rubin sucks as a drummer mike chiplin was the best

  • You are fucking out of your mind. Ilan runs circles around Chiplin. Know what a sample is? It's Chiplin's middle name. Just listen to the old stuff. It's all loops and samples and live he couldn't keep the tempo right if his career depended on it. If you're gonna make moronic comments try to at least know a little about what you're talking about.

  • I totally AGREE!

  • Thank jesus for that. ilan rubin is awsome

  • did you no travis barker did drums for this song on the album

  • yeah, he was going to be their full time drummer but then decided to go with plus 44.

  • I know Travis and he was never going to be their full time drummer. Where do you people get this stuff? The Prophets asked if he would like to do the album, but Bob Rock wanted Josh Freese instead, because he had worked with him before. Travis did nothing on the album. Freese did 10 songs and Rubin did 2.

  • Travis didnt actually record anything but he did some early sessions with them when they were demoing.

  • He did no sessions at all with them. Again, where do get this stuff?

  • amazin song 1 of tha best off the album !!!!

  • A Great Song and a Great Band went to see them at the Apollo in Manchester on the 3rd July 2006 and they were FUCKIN AMAZING

  • Maaaaaaazin video :] Love these guys forever <3

  • Great :D Nice camera, but i would love to hear him screaming in the start :D

  • Nice one :) Thats not that shakey considering how the front row looked hehe.
