The Lady.....introspective genius.. I was lucky to see her perform twice in the U.S., including watching her perform Quiet Joys of Brotherhood (a Richard Farina piece) at the Cornell Folk Music Festival in front of Mimi Farina, who was in attendance
She was greatness and sadness and beauty... I hope one day her daughter Georgia can understand how important Sandy was to so many of us.
What an intense performance. Sandy was a Goddess. How she was able to communicate emotion so effectively. And a Brilliant singer, guitarist and pianist. Quite amazing really, and I think this is her best song....it's really hard to chose, but I think she really loved this song a lot.
Rest in peace, Sandy. We lost you thirty-three years ago today. How this gnaws at me, still after all these years as if you were my close friend, lover or sister. Yet, through your words and music you were... are.
You live on through your music. You are in my heart, mind, and soul. Always.
Thank you for the music and the joy, love, pain, and peace it has brought me over the years.
Beautiful morning for silver notes and golden hearts

A wonderful performance by one of the great (and yet most unrecognized singers) of the later 20th century....
