  • Celia!!!!

From Dharma And Greg!!!! She was totally the best character.

  • Poor Oscar

Also thanks so much for posting up the Classic Sesame Street Stuff

  • I think that's so funny how Elmo fell asleep on Maria's shoulder while the adults continued with their dinner.

  • I love Mr. Ferrer

  • haha..poor oscar

  • This is a very nice video. Very touching. Thanks for posting.

  • Wow, this is weird for me to see. I watched SS in the 70s as a kid, and then started watching it again in the early 2000s with my own children. But I pretty much missed the in-between decades of the '80s and '90s. I know Luis and Maria had gotten married, but I never saw the "courtship" or "romance" episodes of this era. I am surprised that they showed them kissing like that. Not offended at all. Just surprised. And impressed that the producers figured that kids could deal with seeing it.

  • When i was young i use to have on tape the actual wedding of maria and luis on Sesame Street, if someone has it they should post it.

  • golly i wonder oscar dont bite maria

  • Maria and her mother doing that stufff to Oscar is funny.

  • You know, attention spans seemed much different back then... I remember seeing reruns of the episode on tape (i was only 1 in 1988) and I loved it... I always thought it was real though... the two made such a great couple.

  • My best part of Sesame Street was when Big Bird had the birdie pox.

  • why?

  • this is more of an adult scene though.. i dont mean that kids cant watch it but kids' attention span doesnt hold well for these kinds of street sketches. I remember seeing this sketch around the age of 6

  • Wow. That's all I have to say, just wow. Sesame street just isn't the same anymore. I remember back when SS was like this (I also remember this episode, even though I was only 2)I'd also love to see Maria ansd Luis' wedding. That episode aired on May 13th, 1988. I was unable to see it because that day I was in the hospital having hand and foot surgery. Just proves that life is better on Sesame Street!!!

  • This was gorgeous, thank you!!!

I wish I could see their baby episode as well sometime.

  • Whoa! As long as I've seen Sesame Street, I've never seen a kiss that long or that real! Nice post, sawing14!

  • aww, this was a wonder time on Sesame Street. do you or anyone else out there have Luis and Maria's wedding? please post it, thanks.
