  • @koiching Australians do not use word. It was never that big here.

  • what's the title of the rap song at latter half part?

  • @tattsun999 Handlebar(s) by Flobot

  • @ChowMein09

Thanks a lot for your help! the lyrics of the song seems weird but cool.

  • 日本語うますぎ!

  • He sounds weired when he speaks Japanese. I mean he is very flunent in japanese and his accent is flawless, but sounds just like a hiphop artist, dancer and could be a surfur. Many Japanese don't speak like that, but only particular groups of people. So I don't really recommend Japanese learners to speak like him unless you really want to be seen as those types of people or even a player.

  • Dude, you kind of look part Japanese....haha

  • Thanks! I liked your video! It's so helpful. I'm going to check some more!

  • 歯並びが気になる。

  • It requires commitment. I personally watched a shitload of Japanese TV and movies constantly, reading books, playing video games, its fun and the right way to learn IMO, theres a lot of venues for these types of things, there are a lot of Japanese Disney movies on youtube.

  • @xXfainarufantajiXx yeah ummm i watch alot of cartoons and listen to alot of music sometimes i look up on youtube some lessons and w.e but its dificult to know what to say and what not to say cuz i learned boys speak differently than girls guys say ore alot but i hear girls saying it too so that kinda confuses me...

  • thats a wonderful start! better than the one I had... If you want a few valuable online resources to help you learn, message me. They'll have you knowing all of the grammar up to a intermediate level, a firm grasp on kanji, and a wide vocabulary within months. happy learning~★

  • @xXfainarufantajiXx Im Trying to learn japanese, so could you send me some sites i could checkout?

  • _/,sd

  • Haha, Gen...wtf are you doing...

  • I think 'dope' would be a better word to teach, I hear that alot more than 'word'

  • wooord... naw, more like: WERD!!! lol

  • カッケーこの人w

    WORD!!! ...funny lol

  • Damn, his Japanese turns me on :'D

Seriously, he sounds like one of those Japanese guys you here in a Japanese drama or an anime.

  • your joking.

    nobody says word anymore XD

    or very little.

To put it in hip hop text. man that word is so old school.

I actually substituted man with a certain word that i will not type you guys know what im talking about. the really bad word that people still use in Vids.

  • I don't know man. I don't hear "word" used much anymore. I think its lifetime is pretty limited. 死語になるのは時間の問題だと思うけど

  • word.

  • God i know how cheesy this is, but you're gorgeous. WORD! (lol i had to, keyword and all)

  • word.

  • Lol, I've never heard 'word' being used this way before =P. I must be getting behind in the times ;). Interesting none the less ^^.

  • I love hearing Japanese people speaking street English! My friend Norie moved to America from Japan a few years ago, but because a majority of her friends are black, she uses slang all the time. Like, if I say something like, "Next week's class is canceled," she'll be like, "OH, FA REAL?!" She does it so much; it's adorable. XD

  • "word" very nice i didn't know about it.

i will try it from tomorrow!

    thanks dude!

  • than a lot :]

  • you remind me of Wentz from WaT

  • Are you in your home doing this video? If you are - your place is HUGE for a Tokyo home!

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaawn!

  • I always wondered why a lot of my acquitances used that expression!! Thank you for the information!! (*u*)b

  • StleetEngrish!

  • This video was slightly weird for an American native-English speaker. Rock on.

  • WORD!

    lol

    ;)

    Awesome vid.

  • What are you doing here, Ness? LOL!

  • What can I say V?

I'm tryin to brush up on my Japanese...

Between you and this guy... I think I got it goin on... ;)

  • Paris Hilton?

  • Yep, That's Nikki and Paris. They are crazy bunch of girls, especially Paris!

  • yo man what song was that?

  • hey dude, how long have you been speaking japanese? how long would it take if I wanted to learn japanese?

  • Hi man, thanks for the question. That's a really good one. I was actually born and raised in Tokyo for 12 years. But I have friends, who have gone through intensive 3 month training schools and came out very very good. But at the same time I know a few people who have been in Japan since the 90's and they can't read Japanese.

I strongly suggest that you learn to read, not just to speak. And these Japanese schools seem to be the key!

  • thank you! :)

  • @StreetEnglishTV wow!! where was this intensve 3 month training school?? 0.0

  • @creamclouds @StreetEnglishTV and if i may add... :D

I learned Japanese for four years in a university in the Philippines (myself being born and raised in the Philippines for 23 years) and used it in my work for 3 years, and now, I still am using it here in Japan. I also think that it's most important to use the language itself; make Japanese friends and talk to them in Japanese as much as possible; find friends on the net, perhaps. Language is learned best when used. :D
