THis is worth the trip, this bridge spans the widest part of the Missouri river and on the Nebraska side there is a vantage lookout point that they designed to be able to look out over the river without seeing the bridge. The vantage point is on the east side of the road. I was at the bridge groundbreaking and I have taken my kids many times. *****

A long,lonely stretch of highway! I enjoy roadtrips especially along lonely stretch of highways because it gives me both a feeling of freedom and isolation.I enjoy solitude and isolation,and being away from the hustle and bustle of noisy places like the big cities.if I win the lottery I'd buy an RV and spend the rest of my days driving all over the USA and Canada,and as far as Alaska.I would live on the road
