  • My Great Uncle was killed in this war. He was a radio man. His patrol was ambushed. He kept trying to call in artillery strikes until he died. Thank you for this video.

  • Please don't make rash comments at this video.. This is a tribute...

I am a 14 year old guy from The Netherlands. A while ago I saw another tribute video about the vietnam war. I'm intregued with it, and I have much respect for all the soldiers that died during that war. I don't know how to explain it but this video just gives a tear to my eye. Great video ;)

They didn't get the 'welcome home' they so rightfully deserved. Thank your Dad for his service and give him a hug for me, would you? My Daddy died last year. I miss him. :( 5/5 stars.

    shafs

  • your dad is getting left high and dry by the system and you make a video. wtf is wrong with this generation?

  • Whether he got screwed by the V.A or not, he is still my father and I am still proud of him and the rest of our troops who fought to keep us safe.

  • quit the rhetoric and look at the facts. we lost that war. our boys were sent to fight a war that was never about our safety. the war was based on the delusions of mccarthyism and the over-reaching military industrial complex.

their sacrifices means nothing unless we make sure it never happens again.

being american means having a distrust of big government. spewing out propaganda like "they hate our freedoms" whitewashes the ultimate sacrifice people have made for real issues in our country.

  • We where trying to stop the spread of communism and save millions of people from the viles of communism. All you anti war protester have a lot of blood on your hands millions of south Vietnamese and Cambodians where slaughtered after the US left Vietnam. But you wont ever talk about that you little bitch.

  • Their sacrifice, biohax, gave us the right to be free, to say what we want, whether we agree with you (or our government) or not. Case closed.

  • Instead of insulting him you could pay your respects to his father who served for his country. What's wrong with your generation? you don't even respect vets.

  • @biohax The video is to salute Vietnam vets...nobody is thinking about them "getting left high and dry by the system"...The point is this video was for all who served then and showing how grateful he/we all are for there braveness to fight for our country. My fiance fought in Vietnam and he's not sitting around dwelling on how unfair the system treated us...instead he salutes the flag everyday with head held high. They know they got screwed, they certainly don't need a reminder of that.. Thanks!

  • 4ever,

I imagine your dad is equally as proud of you! what a wonderful tribute. My husband also fought in Nam. He too was wounded more than once. He has a hearing problem as a bomb exploded next to him killing his good buddy. He was 2 weeks in a medic unit and the VVA has no record of that either. Tell your dad to keep fighting the VVA! Great video!

The idiot wowweekin keeps spending his days on his computer writing trash and vulgar language to all who tribute any US soldier. Ignore him!
