Omg i hate norton it blockes SVCHOST.exe for a days than it stopped but SVChost is a system so all of my system is run out of time now when i download and install something it says it has stopped working also norton manual scan i mean right click than norton than scan inside is nfake when i scanned like this trojan horse it saud nothing is dangerous when i run it norton blocked it -_-

I'm using Norton Internet Security 2005 right now. I'm not really sure I like it that much because I downloaded the free edition of Bit Defender and it actually detected 2 Trojans that Norton didn't pick up. AND BIT DEFENDER WAS FREE.

Norton Internet Security 2009 is better because it has a better firewall. I been using Norton Internet Security for years now, and I haven't had any infections. The 2009 version is much improved and, in my opinion, it is the best antivirus software today.

Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security are about the same thing, however, Norton Internet Security has more feautures like identity protection.

P.S If you want to save like $10.00 I suggest you purchase Norton Antivirus 2009.

It takes around 2 mins to uninstall, and around 1 min to install. The longest part is putting your licence key in it! Brilliant stuff.

I like NIS better, because it gives you more at really faster speed as if you mix and match other tools. Also NIS has a cool password management toolbar for IE that logs you right into pages like ebay, banking or stuff.

1. Have you even tried the knew 2009 I think not, because throw away your early thinking. 2009 has improved so much, that i dont notice it anymore and it even seems faster then NOD32 at times. Boot up only slowed down like 2 secs (not noticeable at all.)

2. This has been updated with the help of new security features like sonar, believe me IT WORKS.

3. This is true, their expensive, but for the protection they over now you shouldnt care.
